In this video, I visit Jory Brigham's workshop in Paso Robles California. Jory creates high end contemporary furniture and gaming tables, and he also teaches classes. I took his benchmaking class where I learned TIG welding and had the chance to meet some pretty great people! I spent some time talking with Jory and the other instructors to learn a bit about their work and their businesses. Links to their websites are below.

Thank you...I needed this. Love to hear people who do what they love regardless how much it pays. The world would be a better place if more people followed their passion/dreams vs. money...

I’ll have to finish watching this video later because I have to charge up the battery on my iPad, and I have to shovel the snow. People in Michigan know all about that!

It seems he has applied as much care and craftsmanship to his whiskers as he has his wood working!

Seriously, this was a fascinating video to watch. Extremely good camera shots and editing. The storyline held my attention the entire way. You ask good questions which people are eager to answer.

Was it a little strange being on the receiving end of an instructional class? Thank you for showing us that viewpoint.

Just want to know how you feel about certain woodturners giving lessons, wont mention names, that have serious flaws in their works and do some absolutely horrific things in their videos? (Im not talking about you by the way) :)

To do a 20 min. video and not to show a final product is very disappointing. Better luck next time.
