i was just there last week. it is not closed. i am not convinced it will ever close, it has been equally horrible since i was a child, and yet remains open

@@ValenciaCecil at least in recent years they finally put up an actual physical sign to warn people about the roughness of the coaster, before it was just kind of “if you know you know” and anyone who didn’t know was just screwed

Last time I was there, I was 16 and it was right after Timberwolf opened. When The Orient Express was still running. I loved that coaster 😍😍

WOF such an underrated park. They have a great 1-2 punch in those two coasters. With CF putting new investment into it finally I can see them building it up to be a destination park

My fav ride at WOF is definitely the Patriot but the Timberwolf is also a lot of fun (if you like getting thrown around lol)

I went to Worlds of Fun for the first time yesterday with my family. (I’m 13 btw) and I used to be TERRIFIED of rollercoasters. But my first roller coaster there was Prowler. I screamed cuss words because it scared the life out of me, but then we went to patriot. It also scared the shit out of me, but then I loved it. Patriot was the roller coaster that made me get over my fears of rollercoasters. After that, I went to Mamba, and loved it. After that, we did the rest of the coasters like Spinning Dragons and I loved all of it.

I can't wait to ride Mamba with the new ride controls, heard it's basically trimless now. WoF is my home park and I plan on doing Halloweekends this year, hopefully that will allow me to take the best pictures of the construction site before the end of the season.

You know, it's embarrassing to say this, but I've lived in KC for over 20 years, and I've never been to World's of Fun, and I live only 10 minutes away. "Next year!" I always say, but then the summer is over. < sigh >

They have fall events as well. Right now is Haunt and you can still ride most of the rides during that time.

i go there a lot it’s so so fun have u road timberwolf yet it’s my favorite i also love the prowler and maumba and next time i go i might ride boomarang luckly i’m only about 1 hour and a half away

Wild thing was really good when I went earlier this year. The drop gave strong ejector and every hill gave same floater. Even some of the pullouts were intense.

Last time I was there, the customer service and cleanliness was horrid. I do not see myself ever visiting again. Very unfortunate.

Live right there. Amazing park and it’s true one day it’ll be 100 degrees and you’ll be drenched and the next it’ll be 50 and you’ll be wearing sweats

I went there three weeks ago and mamba broke down right after I went on it and I live in Omaha Nebraska so it’s like a three hour drive so not bad of a drive

My absolute least fav park. Separately, the second visit it was 106 degrees. Not exaggerating. I actually died and am writing this from the other side. However, Prowler is a wonderful coaster. Loved it.
