11 ай бұрынA little over a month ago my 2022 Mustang Mach 1 was wrecked by a U-Haul Truck in my apartment complex. Today, I decided to go check and see the progress on the Mach 1 Mustang which left me pretty disgusted considering the Mustang was completely apart and the shop found more damages.

Lucky it got fixed that fast my 16 gt pp1 got backed into left rear quarter panel and it took them like 2 months to fix it but glad to have it back and banging gears🤘🏻

Happened to my Bullitt also. Had to rewire the active exhaust.

I just fixed a friends active exhaust 2 weeks ago, and their harness was pushed all the way against the body line where I couldn’t even unplug it. So I took 2in of 5/16 high temp trans line and cut it down the middle then slid it onto the body line in front of the harness. Was much easier then trying to tape it.

How do we avoid that for the active exhaust? Do I tape the exposed wires or does have to be something with the actuator? It hasn’t happened to me yet but I’m trying to a avoid that 😂.

Aye I had same problem with my active after headers get it up on a lift check wires wrap everything with electrical tape neatly and zipped it behind that pinch metal part that it gets crushed under when car squats

Nope I had the same issue. Wire was frayed and cutting off the active exhaust but never popped a fuse

Thats so so sad because its a Mach 1 and is brand new and will for sure be a collector's car one day. I used to work in a Ford body shop for 3+ yrs... ive seen brand new raptors, mustangs all kinds of messed up 😭😭

Derek!... my 2019 GT premium active exhaust sometimes does this. I have an xpipe with corsa extremes. When i start my car in the morning. My car does not go inti quiet mode. It can go in spirt and track. But it doesnt go into quiet mode. If i select quiet mode. It goes into quiet on display and U can physically hear the valve going back and forth from quiet to normal. It goes back and forth and never stops. Idk what to do to fix this please help me! I wake up at 1am for work everyday. And instead of doung this i just leave it in normal mode but lord ik im pissibg my neighbors off every night lol

I was having the same problem with my passenger side actuator. I solved the problem by taking it to Brandon at Roy Hendricks and he dropped the passenger side exhaust and took an air chisel and bent the frame back and created a 1-inch notch in the frame. My wires had completely severed and blew the fuse and I had to get a new harness luckily it was only 30 bucks. He also put in my Steeda H pipe. He does great work.

I had Brandon do my Steeda H-pipe as well. I added the Borla S-type axle back and Brandon said the connection on the Borla is the opposite side, so it eliminated it getting pinched. He said the Borla design is how Ford should have done it.

Mine has 600 miles all stock and it sometimes won't go to track mode on the exhaust and the actuators act up

I was also having issues with my active exhaust took it to a bodyshop to see what could be done with the pinch weld and they used a wooden baseball bat & clearanced the harness

You need to get the guy from the movie Cape Fear. He belts himself to exhaust pipes while you cruise. He can prevent the bump short.

Hate Seeing A Ford Looking Like That All In Pieces But On The Other Hand If It Had Been The Chevy Id Say Better Luck Next Time And Move On lol But Seriously Though Ford's Are A Different Type Of Car And A Lot Better And Hopefully She'll Come Back Even Better. I've actually considered trading my 2019 GT-350 for a Mach 1. Just not a fan of the Fighter Jet Grey color at all, (yes I know there are more colors out there) Of course it would have to be a Manual with Recaros.
