Visma-Lease A Bike Is In BIG TROUBLE Without Primož Roglič
Visma-Lease-a-Bike just lost one of their most powerful riders, Primož Roglič, to Bora-Hansgrohe, and while they will undoubtedly continue to thrive as a team, many believe their job at the 2024 Tour de France will be much harder without him. But how will Visma venture into the unknown, and how crazy of a summer can we really expect?

i think its actually a good thing he left for Visma. the reason that there were ppl that could be fresh at the tour cuz he ride the giro is nonsense, cuz last year the most important climbing helper, kuss, had to go all out to save roglic several times in the giro and this year he wont ride the giro, so in fact vingegaards most important helper will be more fresh for the tour this year (with altitude training camp which he didnt do last year cuz of the giro). also, i dont think roglic is at the leve of pogacar and vingegaard, its not for nothing that jumbo chose vingegaard as number one for the tour and only let roglic do the giro and vuelta. so it doesnt really matter roglic now does the tour in another team, cuz his main rival will still be pogacar. so the only bad thing for visma will be that they probably wont win all 3 grand tours (unless uytebroeks or van aert do something really surprising). but that was always going to be very hard, even if roglic had stayed and ride the giro again, cuz of pogacar doing the giro. so in the end i only see positive sides from roglic leaving, for himself and for visma.

Rogla contributed to a lot of the UCI points. Just looking at the numbers themselves Rogla is one of the most important riders they had. I don't think riding the giro was nonsense. The prestige they obtained puts them as a historic team that won all the grand tours. I think you are underestimating Primoz, his performance at the vuelta was not inferior. For example the average watts they did at Angliru are comparable to what was seen at Puy de Dome, and there is more to add however you should do the research yourself. You will notice itself the lack of UCI points this year at Jumbo due to the absense of Roglic. While they had 2 certain riders for success at stage races, this year that won't that way unless Kelderman or Cian Uijdebroeks reach their maximum potential. This year they won Volta a Catalunya, Tirreno, Criterium du Dauphine, Itzulia, 2nd at paris nice. How many UCI points would be subtracted from the victories at Tirreno, Catalunya, the giro, or the stage wins at la vuelta and 3rd at GC.

There's a good chance Roglic will never win anything ever again(outside of stages). So it's really not a good move by him. A waste of money for Bora, with a 2yr contract that's so expensive, and now Roglic won't have nearly the support he had before. He'll be lucky to make it halfway up any major climb without being fully isolated with no teammates. Having Hindley and Roglic together is gonna be a nightmare. Roglic needs a lieutenant that's a team leader. Bobby Jungels is the closest to that but he just can't hang on the steep stuff anymore.
