At 5’7” I’m interested to know how tall it feels. It’s nice and light but I’d prefer not to be tiptoeing it! 😆

I like the looks of the Vitpilen 701 and Svartpilen 401, but the large rear fairing, fork guards and headlight surround doesn't do it for me on this one. I'm not really their market though, the most appealing bike in their line for me at the moment is the Supermoto 701. It weighs less and even has a bigger tank (not to mention it's a grand less than the KTM 690 SMC R here in Oz)!

Is the reviewer a dwarf or is this a massive bike? I thought it was the same size as the Vitpilen.

Nine grand for a munter will probably end up heavily discounted fairly soon like it's little brother the 401because nobody buys one

Rode the 701 Vitpilen and thought it looked fantastic. This one looks like it has the same seat arrangement as the 401 svartpilen which is a 2 piece affair meaning I ended up sitting on the ridge between the two - not nice. If you like the looks and are a poser, buy it. If you want slightly more power and are a bit of a hooligan, get the 790 Duke. Great review.
