A lot of people went already with the mediterranean style for the OS community lots, but I think you would nail the mid-century style for them!

The original house wasn't bad (for EA's standards) but yours is way more cohesive and realistic- love these sm

I´m European so I don´t live close to anything remotely desert like, but Oasis Springs still is one of my favorite neighborhoods. It feels more alive than most other worlds and I love the mid century builds that fit perfectly with the world. Most other worlds are very traditional to the country/area they were based on and this allows for more creativity

I love this build and the idea for the jack and Jill kids bathroom. Very quarky and something that not everyone would like or get. But I like it 😊

The timing for this is perfect for my gameplay I just moved a sim on this lot and I was struggling with renovating this EA build. Definitely putting this in my game!!!

I think that jack and jill situation is pretty realistic! We had a similar situation in our home growing up, but my sibling and I both had closets instead of windows in that space. Love the build, super cozy and fun!

You can fix the pool foundation thing by selecting those flat foundations and applying them to the pool

the picture you used above the dollhouse gives off a flirty vibe i believe lol i always use it as a kids picture though

Basically, the individual rooms in the brown tones look warm and cozy in themselves, but overall it is unfortunately far too much brown. It makes you feel depressed. :(

This reminds me of the eco style house you did a while back, especially the kids rooms. One orange with a dinosaur theme and a pink one with space theme, i still really like this house and especially the entryway with the bushes and the stairs. If you want ideas for the community lots in Oasis Springs: i think a mix between modern and midcentury could be very suitable for this world.

Some new home builds by the developer Lennar still do Jack and Jill's! I was surprised to see them when my husband and I toured homes last year. lol 😂

Hey! i really loved this build, the colors, it's so good for gameplay, so i placed on the same lot on my game but the pool doesn't work. i tried so many times to make it work but my sims just won't get into it. i wanna know how i can fix it, i'm guessing it has to do something with terrain but idk :(

Ravasheen has a no curtains snapping mod. I noticed it looks like some of the curtains you want to use tend to snap (here and a video in your cc vids) and make it harder to pick so I thought I’d share that if you’d be interested!

In the trailer (the one from yesterday) the twins are shown and their bedroom doors are open. Do you think we can do that now or is there a trick you might know on how to keep the doors open? I think with the cool teen rooms coming I would not put all those doors but instead knockout the wall where the first set of doors are(just one tile, the one that holds the door) and then leave the bedroom doors slightly open like on the commercial. Would love to see the teens enjoying their new room.

hey simlicy! i was going to ask you for a specific kind of build, i love your build style so much and i have a new family who i love very much, and they NEED a beautiful home to grow in. There is a mom and dad (mom loves music and knitting and dad is a gardener/flower arranger) and two sets of twins! the first set is now children, the girl wants to be an actress when she grows up and the boy is a jock/gamer, they both want their own rooms. the other set of twins is two boy toddlers, they also will need their own rooms! one loves red/purple and the other is a blue/green lover! if you do decide to build it use as many packs as possible!! i love you so much and if u see fit this build would make my year

I also noticed that I am using the neutral-beige-brown clolor scheme in the common spaces in my builds. It annoys me but I cannot fight with it 🤣
