Finally a GM who also seems to play the greatest 1100s who ever lived as I do. Every other speed run series the 1600s lose on move four, making me wonder where my automatic title is. Good to see the tactical genius beginners come alive and make a pro sweat it out. I still hate this game, but I feel a little bit better about myself. Not a lot, but at least a little. Can confirm for whatever reason 95% of players around 1200 blitz out every single move in 2 seconds without any thought whatsoever. I'm the opposite where I play too slow, get to a winning position but have 20 seconds left vs my opponents 4 minutes. Moral of the story is bad players like us shouldn't be playing blitz lol

If he doesnt move his rook or anything after you play bishop h3 you can knight f3 check and if he takes queen g2 checkmate. If he moves his king to h1 you can play queen h2 checkmate.

You can split a chessgame in three stages. It starts with opening theory. Second stage is the ability to calculate. Third is technique. Having a plan or a strategy is just a fancy way of saying what chess is all about; taking your opponents pieces/King.

For some reason I just don’t believe that you are a gm. Something seems off and they are at a different level. For example. at 24:12 kg4 wins the game easy. I’m not even that good a player and I found it. How can you prove that you are gm?
