Sir ur conversion from cm to metre was wrong when we convert 3446.4 cm to me we will get 34.464

We get the maximum intensity of sound at the 3rd harmonic ie,. 1st overtone .. in a closed organ pipe only odd harmonics exist

Why should we start with 16 cm

Because the theoretical value is somewhere around 16. So for the sake of time saving, we are taking 16 cm first.

On multiplying we would get V=34464 so in meter it would be 344.65
