as a vit v student there is little to no difference bw chennai and vellore . there is a difference when it comes to bhopal or ap campus. but you can consider Chennai and Vellore both are equally good. and let me be honest the strictness has reduced a lot it is still strict compared to other colleges but its not that bad any longer (it was extremely strict during 2013 -15). be thoda careful and you will have a good time here

It is incorrect when you say that Vit Chennai doesn't have a Nirf ranking! Vit Chennai is an off campus facility of Vit Vellore & so doesn't need a separate nirf ranking !! Even placement for all Vit Chennai students takes place in Vellore only.

Yeah Bro, but did you know!, VIT Chennai have different Governing and Management body.. So it doesn't matter that it is Facility of VIT Vellore! So tell me Why MIT Jaipur have NIRF ranking even MIT Jaipur is also a Off Campus Facility of MIT Manipal and MIT Jaipur comes at top 50 NIRF Rank for university!... Think about it!!!😊.. VIT Chennai is good but it isn't that much good... Be Aware of this things, Colleges like VIT, SRM makes you fool by saying this bull shit things!!

@@BoringBingI am sorry to say, you are completely wrong by saying that Management body of Chennai is different. Obsolutely not. Management and instructions are managed by the one consolidated committee. Pls Google and correct your facts. There is no separate ranking of Chennai Campus and it will never ever be there. Vellore is a 40 year old institution formed in 1984. That's why they mention VIT Vellore every where.

Bro to say the truth the campus is too good but based on strictness vit is nothing compared to most others in tamil nadu. It is not having many rules but only the nesasary rules are present. I highly recomend vit chennai than vellore as we live i a city we can get all our basic needs than a place deep rural in a forest. vit vellore is distant from vellore city but not in the case of chennai and every one can consider chennai than vellore

@@aradhya12223 here you have to be in discipline not little but extremely discipline so if in terms of enjoyment you will not be able to enjoy and all . But teachers are well qualified, labs have all equipments and in terms of placement if you work hard then you can grab a good one. Just competition is more here.
