2024 Pro Motocross is a go! The second half of the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship was kicked off with a press conference today and, of course, a couple of riding sessions. The 450MX and 250MX riders were allowed 30 minutes of track action each, which was more than enough time for us to sculpt this video.

Okay, hear me out. Supercross is awesome; it's technical, everybody has a view of the track, etc. But there is something special about motocross. We see who the men are: there are longer days of sunshine, the bikes go faster, 40 riders at the gate. Let's take it outside, boys Yeew!!!

That air out by Barcia was sick! And the way Deegan railed the outside of that berm was reminiscent of Tomac on 250. I guess training with them in CO did pay off. 450 class will be interesting, but this 250 class is going to be some of the best competition we’ve seen in years. So many good dudes with potential to win. Can’t wait 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Hate to say it but the 450's will be a race for 2nd place behind Jett. I hope I am wrong as we all want to see some good racing but not sure who can keep up with him for 35 min. Chase is the only one pre-season I can think of? Regardless, can't wait to the gate drops tomorrow, so exciting!

I did know they let c guys ride on press days either way anyone thinking he won't be on top when the gate drops hasn't been paying attention he is always a contender. Between his dad and the team if he was 7 seconds off I'm sure the went back to the truck a figured it out

@1:37 watch guys. This is the secret. It's little stuff like this accumulated over many laps is how Jett's so much faster. No one single thing, but many little things. He's prejumping right over those breaking bumps. Say what you will about the kid but his talent cannot be denied.

@@cheffy597 true but he wasn’t quite as fast as deegan last year and I can only assume deegan will be a little bit better this year. Either way I think it will come down to them 2 for the championship. Maybe savatgy and kitchen can get in on it if we’re lucky

Supercross is definitely a technical technique style of riding. Motocross is balls to the wall. Hills and big air jumps and love the Outdoors. It definitely separates the men from the boys. I give mad props to the pros for having to be in some serious shape. To keep it real for 30 minutes, that’s incredible.🤙🙏✌️💯🇺🇸👍🫡

Now the real season starts! MX>SX by far. Much more demanding, no "synthetic" perfectly groomed SX tracks, so brutal on both rider and machine, outside weather conditions and overall who has the most desire for 35 min... CAN'T wait!! Supercross is a great spectator sport. MX is what 90% of us can identify with. Love it!! I wish Tomac and Web were racing. I feel Jett will win. But it will be a dog fight for the rest of the podium... The 250 Deegs will be tough!!

Not sure why they're swinging the backend around while they're jumping , It doesn't seem safe & more to lose control over the bike . Is it a way to show off or what ? I remember Marty Smith never doing this & he pretty much won a lot !
