Highlights of Vitaly Scherbo's incredible haul of 6 Gold medals during the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games.
The irrepressible Belarusian won six of the available eight gymnastic Gold medals at Barcelona in 1992. That's more titles at a single Games than any other gymnast in Olympic history. Scherbo's achievement also included a remarkable four gold's in a single day, part of a total career tally of ten Olympic medals.

I’m a girl so he doesn’t coach my team but he just sold the gym to our head team coach. It’s so crazy hearing people say they were coached by him and I am too he was a really amazing gymnast and his mural is still on the wall of the gym

Лучший гимнаст всех времен и народов. Завоевать в абсолютном первенстве и еще на снарядах 4 золота да еще в командном первенстве золото - это невероятно. Это вам не фелпс или братья уильямс - накачались фармакологией и вперед.Какой стиль у Виталия, оттяжка, все тело как одна линия. Все соскоки в доскок. Широта исполнения. И это на каждом снаряде. Блестяще. Жаль но сейчас мы в спортивной гимнастике как и вообще в спорте отстали надолго. Системного подхода вовсе нет. Советский спорт самый лучший.

Не надо вот только квасного патриотизма. Фэлпс и Уильямсы так же заслуживают своих наград, как и большинство современных спортсменов. Просто раша всё проебала, как в спорте, так и в фармакологии. Поэтому нас на хую крутят всякие ВАДА, а Мутко только щачлом воздух хватает.

Пфф, через 26 лет рассказать о том, что изнасиловали, не привести никаких доказательств - всё, на мужике клеймо. ОСОБЕННО учитывая, что по показаниям татьяны ей было 15 (это средний возраст потери девственности), а ему 19. Ну да, переспали 2 подростка, через 26 лет она решила изойти на говно.

Agility and strength, I think gymnasts are the perfect athletes i mean their strength is so functional opposed to bench pressing 225 pounds which builds a big chest but so what if you cant do anything with it

Actually the gimnsasts have a lack of strengh on their legs, and also the strength and muscle that you achieve con sports like powerlifting or weightlifting is also functional. Otherwise the bodybuilding is not functional if is that what you were talking about

Lifting a couch with one hand and mopping with the other hand is pretty functional to me. Weight lifting is functional! Most gymnasts do weightlifting or they do some specific excercises to help them at gymnastic elements. Only a low pecentage of gymnasts lack leg strentgh. Doing 10 perfect pistol squats is pretty decent and most of them can squat 100kg. But yeah gymnasts are the ultimate athletes. What they do makes soldiers look like babies

If only i could have a body like that, to think how many hours on end to end to train to get that fit, like they say 1 step at a time & you can get fit, maybe not like these guys, but at least your body & mind will feel better once you start slowly, say 15 min walks & then after say 1 week, step it up to 30 min walks & then try to beat your times for each 30 min walk, but keep in mind, i am a amputee, i have always wanted to do a 10 mile walk on Crutches, which i used to do, maybe i should start it up again, my best time for 10 miles was 1 hour & 15 Min & that's was with 38 C degree day. I have nothing but respect for those people that love what they do, never ever give up on anything you want to do in life. cheers :)

its not hard to have body like that... but the skills, static strength hold, mobility flexibility and other aspects from gymnastic is the thing that is truly hard.

Junkai I liked it and thought it looked clean and tidy. Dominic Ward Perhaps the danger is to the equipment and not the gymnast! I’ve seen many gyms with snapped ring cables.. always a trouble to repair equipment :) Thanks for the well wishes and right back at ya!

Michael Phelps's Beijing 2008 achivement can he eclipsed if someone was to win 8 Golds in Artistic Gymnastics in one olympics cos that means 7 solo golds instead of 5 & no one has ever won more than 5 solo golds in one olympics. If you put in extra commitment & consistency you could compete in the Individual Trampoline event at the same games so making it 9 golds (8 solo) in one Olympics.
