An actor of the romance and grief movie period preferably always knew the ways to captivate in audience. And because quite frankly women were very pushy born between 1910-1920.

My Aunt Margie was one of several elevator operators in a department store in NYC (maybe Macy's, I don't remember) back in the early '30's. Lucille Ball was her coworker, multitasking as a model to make ends meet while auditioning for acting parts.My aunt told us that she was the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen in person. Yes! Probably because the authors could write fun stuff without meeting DEI targets and worrying about whether some group of another is going to feign offence!
