I’ve only tried Timeless and Maelove. Timeless didn’t do anything for me, except it was moisturizing. Maelove brightens my skin but it turns yellow within 3 months. I’m going to try naturium next.

Congrats on another great informative video. I have been looking for a Vitamin C. I had started the Ordinary skincare because of you, but i am not fond of their Vit C. I also wanted to know an eye serum that you could recommend because i have been getting some Milias by eyes and a few on cheek and dark circles. I do mention one serum that works amazing for milias as I had one and the serum took it away🙋🏼‍♀️

YES I love it too🙋🏼‍♀️ You can definitely use Pycnogenol with Vitamin C but adding the Resveratrol + Ferulic is best to boost the effectiveness...

Hi there and I understand you completely 😊 Vitamin C can be used both morning and night but once a day is sufficient enough. I personally like applying it during the day as Vitamin C helps to protect the skin from environmental stressors (pollution). You can't go wrong either way, it just depends on when you would like to apply it💗

I am pregnant n its been more then a week that i used the Niod, but no changes at all. Instead my pigmentation is getting worse. I find the Drunk Elephant can be a little tacky on the skin which may bother those that have oily skin. I would probably say Timeless

Hello Miss Ash, I am already using Matrixyl and vitamin c powder and when they are all finished should it be better for me to carry on with Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% instead of those two please.

It really is up to you. If you enjoy the vitamin c powder then continue with it and keep using the matrixyl at night. You could use a separate Alpha Arbutin serum morning and night if you still want that in your routine.

I have never tried any Mario Bedescu products so I can't give my opinion on it but it is possible to break out from Vitamin C yes.. I do experience this on my neck from time to time..

I am not familiar with this product but I did look it up and it seems like it could be a good product.. there is citrus in it and some people find citrus to be irritating on the skin. Something to keep in mind...

Not a huge Vitamin C fan ... used Inkey List 15% Vitamin C + EGF which I actually really loved. Just got The Ordinary Ascorbic 8% and 2% Alpha Arbutin to try ... I find it VERY greasy on the skin and that it takes a long while to soak in ... not a fan of it ... am I doing something wrong or is that just the formula?

It could just be the formula and you not liking the texture of it.. I don't find my Ordinary Ascorbic + Alpha to be too oily on my skin but maybe try another vitamin c from the Ordinary.. You may like the cream based ones (The Suspensions)..

I wouldn't suggest using vitamin c with peptides (matrixyl) so use your vitamin c in the morning and your niacinamide and matrixyl at night..

Hi! No, you don't want to use acids with vitamin c. Use Vitamin C in the morning and acids at night.

I would go with any of the ones mentioned in this video.. I do find the Drunk Elephant can sometimes make the skin tingle but that is a good thing but if you have sensitive skin you may not like that..

I was planning to get that one and once my skin is used to it, then switch to the the ordinary which has an 8% concentration. I have used the truth serum by ole henriksen which is under 5% I think and that hasn't irritation my hyperpigmentation. What do you suggest?

Hmmmmm... Mine does have a slight scent but it's the scent of the ingredients. It doesn't smell like artificial fragrance.

The Ordinary recommends not to use their L-Ascorbic Acid Powder and their Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution with peptides (buffet)..

You can use Niacinamide with Vitamin C yes but from the Ordinary in particular, they recommend not to use their vitamin c with niacinamide in the same routine.

My favorite active! I liked TO AA 8% with alpha arbutin as that was my first vitamin c serum, a way to get my skin used to L-AA. I am currently using TO LAA powder with Marine Hyaluronic, which works great for my complexion, fine lines and dark under eye circles. However, I noticed more sunspots since starting vitamin C. Dr. Vanita Rattan, who owns her own hyperpigmentation clinic in UK, recommends using acids like vitamin C at night for people of skin of color like mine. I am starting to do that, to see if that will help. I wonder if the acidity of vitamin c in the morning is making my skin photosensitive. I know there is no current evidence of that but personally I want to try to keep my harsher actives at night since I didn't see it helping in the mornings for me. I am interested to try the Niod ethylated ascorbic acid 30%. Niod seems like a great brand. I'm waiting for Survival 0 to come back in stock.

Yes I have heard of this before.. There is nothing wrong with using Vitamin c at night and keeping all the actives at night 😉 The NIOD is a great one for sure... Hopefully Deciem restocks the Survival 0 soon🙋🏼‍♀️

Same thing too. I keep my Morning routine very simple. I would not use any actives in the day time no matter what. How are you finding the vitamin c now? Any results?

Salicylic Acid is the best for acne... Azelaic acid is another option as well!

Everyone's skin tolerates to products differently and some people may see results right away and some may need to use a product for a little longer to see results.. If you don't see any results after 2 months I would switch to a different vitamin c. It is possible that this product isn't strong enough for you to see results. Exfoliating your skin a few days a week as well will help with brighter skin also so if you are not exfoliating regularly your products can't absorb into your skin to do it's job..

You can in theory but from The Ordinary, they recommend not to use niacinamide with pure forms of vitamin c like the one I shared in my video. Using the two together could cause skin flushing (redness)

Ascorbic Acid or L-Ascorbic Acid is a natural form of vitamin c in it's purest form.

Just a caution for people watching, the Timeless serum smells horrible and is very sticky. I ended up throwing it away. I am sensitive to smell and I know others are as well. Just my humble opinion

That's really unfortunate that you experienced that. I have never had a problem with my Timeless Vitamin C. There is a faint smell to it but I believe that is the Ferulic Acid that is in it..

Sincerely Miss Ash yes there is. I use the truth treatment vitamin c serum and balm. Quite expensive but I always buy it on sale and it lasts a very long time 😊

@@mrsklet If you know you are sensitive/ incompatible to everything- you should not tell people on Miss Ash social site about how sick you get. Tell that to your Doctor and maybe he will prescribe you some antibiotics. We not here to hear about your sensitive problems. We don't need to know your contraindications. Your negativity is slowing things down. If I sound bad -this exactly how you sound.

The lower the percentage of Vitamin C the better for sensitive skin but I think you should be fine with the Timeless, The Ordinary or even the Drunk Elephant.. I have combo skin (oily in t-zone) and never have a problem with any of these..
