This is like a video from KZfaq back in the good-old days: 1) Video is as described. 2) Presenter gets straight to the point. 3) Presenter is qualified to actually offer the advice. 4) Presenter does not spend three minutes trying to convince us to buy a VPN. 5) Presenter doesn't beg for money at the end. 6) Presenter didn't pepper video with adverts thereby undermining the trust in the narrative on account that he/she is clearly only in this to rake in a few more pennies. 7)Presenter didn't zoom-cut the video 80 times for absolutely no reason. 8) NO ANNOYING MUSIC I will stop there, but you get my point. Thank you Dr Campbell, long may you reign, stay safe, I subscribed for the above eight reasons.

Not to mention that lack of vitamin D is also linked to seasonal depression. When I moved to Canada I started feeling depressed (first time in my life) so I went to the doctor, they ran some tests and prescribed vitamin D and sunbathing. The stuff went off in a couple of days, taking one almost every day ever since, no cold, no blues, improved health even though I'm getting older.

Mostly, it is ok content; a bit hyped and political at times and this one for example is cringeworthy in that the importance of vitamin D has been known for decades. Downplaying the positive role of masks is also wierd. The most disturbing thing about such channels though is the large percentage of 'fans' and their hyperbole adulation - easy to see how easily many can succumb to cults and wacko politicians etc. I guess most people just ever reach adulthood, except in height.

I know an older pharmacist who told me a dozen years ago that the USDA daily recommendation for Vit D is at least half of what it should be. I've been taking D supplements since then.
@buka9993
@buka9993 4 жыл бұрын
Vitamins supplementation should be ( if system would be driven by morality, not greed ) focused on. Especially vitamin D supplementation. Modern lifestyle has pushed people to spend 8 hours a day, or more, in environments sheltered from sunlight. Human beings are designed to spend most of the time outside. Vitamins supplementation will not be widely recommended. Even though it should be thought to parents and children from the very beginning of their lives. Medical industrial complex will not let that happen. Simply because you don't make money on healthy people. Vitamin D deficiency causes many illnesses including cancers, that corporations profit on. Plus, it serves other more sinister functions as well. That's the sad reality of the situation.

@buka9993 4 жыл бұрын
@@kateharts4242 It doesn't matter how or by who medical industrial complex gets paid. What matters is that they get paid. It's just a smoke and mirrors game. You pay for healthcare the same way people in USA pay for healthcare, it's just a slightly different illusion, money go trough different channels. They "defraud" money from NHS either way. Med schools are compromised, med ind complx lobby has power there. Doctors are brainwashed / undereducated on purpose, or just don't care, they make sales, get bribed in various ways. @Madtroid good diets used to hold true but with modern farming techniques not so anymore. If the plants you eat are lacking nutrients themselves, sprayed and treated with anti fungal, pesticides, insecticides, mildewcides and glyphosate your body is ingesting toxins throwing it out of whack. We eat very clean organic foods lots of veggies, berries, fruits, grass fed meats etc. Both my husband and I tested very low on D. We live in south Florida we're outside in full sun several hours a day. Almost everyone we know test low on d. We take 4,000 iu d3 everyday, it really helps with mood, energy and pain relief.

That's because you're taught allopathy and not nutrition. It's why deaths at the hands of physicians tops the charts over violence, suicide, disease, and every other cause. The facts are out there; no need to argue. Hi Dr. Campbell, my name is Jane and my husband's name is Walt. We watch your show on You Tube every evening; we really enjoy learning from you all the important information about Covid-19, self care and virus prevention. Your show is very important, at a time like this. Where there is so much disinformation. You show us how to seperate fiction from non- fiction. Helping us to be more active in our own health care and the care of other around us. Thank you for all your time, expertise and committment to your country and all other countries around the world! Now down to brass tacks, I am a white, 63 year old women. My husband and I live in the USA. It is because of my health that I'm contacting you. In 2012 I received my second Transplant. A Double Procedure resecting 1/2 of the Liver (function decline caused by rare Heputitis E) & Kidney (decline and loss caused by inherited APKD, and loss of liver function). I lost my first kidney transplant 9 years ago in 2006. And received my second transplant, liver / kidney, 7 years ago in 2012. Needless to say I'm greatly immunosuppressed! In relation to Covid-19, immunosuppression and vitimin D3. How would 2000 IU of D3, in general effect Immunosuppression level of the immune systems desire to attack the kidney? Would taking 2000 IU be dangerous to use to protect my transplant, by increasing my immune response to Covid-19 to elevated, putting both the liver and kidney in danger of rejecting? Should I consider putting myself under lock and key until a innoculation is created? Besides the possibility of being tested, are there any other precautions I need to explore or research to protect myself from catching this virus? Are there any types of exercise, to help calm my mental health, during this time of infection. While dealing with this virus at home, during the infection in hospital and in the hospital that might help with stiffness or breathing? Thank you for your time and commitment, Dr Campbell My husband Walt & I, Jane, trust your information so much more. As you follow the gold standard of research, The Double Blind Studies going on right now on all areas of controlling & stoping the spread of the virus. Not being doctors ourselves, you make the research information presented, accessible to people who have had some medical exposure. But need a Doctor who cares enough to translate and compare the research statistics. from around the globe. We truely trust your interpretations more then we trust our own Governments health systems the CDC, NIH and HHR right now. There's to much evidence of the president's hands being in the middle of all health information from the public and private health statistics. To much is being covered up for the sake of our president's ego and pride. With sincerest thank yous, stay safe, be well, ware your masks and wash your hands!🤗🙏🌸🌻💖

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, my vit D levels were nonexistent, and they found that contributes to breast cancer. Since then, I've been on a once weekly prescription prescribed by my Dr of D2 (ergocal) 1.25mg cap (50,000 iu.) once weekly, and have noticed that over the years, I haven't been ill with even a cold, let alone anything else. I also do not have my spleen so my immune system is compromised just by not having it. So I believe this report as my personal experience confirms what's being said. I've had my husband taking 2000iu daily, orally, since this outbreak started in January, and he too notices he feels better overall. Thank you for expanding on this!

“Tell a lie loud enough and long enough and people will believe it.” - Adolf Hitler “Fluoridation is the greatest case of scientific fraud of this century.” - Robert Carlton, Ph.D, former EPA scientist, 1992 The history of forcing fluoride on humans through the fluoridation of drinking water is wrought with lies, greed and deception. Governments that add fluoride to drinking water supplies insist that it is safe, beneficial and necessary, however, scientific evidence shows that fluoride is not safe to ingest and areas that fluoridate their drinking water supplies have higher rates of cavities, cancer, dental fluorosis, osteoporosis and other health problems. Because of the push from the aluminum industry, pharmaceutical companies and weapons manufacturers, fluoride continues to be added to water supplies all over North America and due to recent legal actions against water companies that fluoridate drinking water supplies, precedent has been set that will make it impossible for suits to be filed against water suppliers that fluoridate. There is a growing resistance against adding toxic fluoride to our water supplies, but unfortunately, because fluoride has become “the lifeblood of the modern industrial economy”(Bryson 2004), there is too much money at stake for those who endorse water fluoridation . The lies of the benefits of water fluoridation will continue to be fed to the public, not to encourage health benefits to a large number of people, but to profit the military-industrial complex.

I then came across a doctor on here saying that the human body can’t process more than 7mg at one time and it takes over 5 hours to do this. So taking my 15mg tablet would be pointless. So I now break up the tablet in half and have one at breakfast and then later on in the day. This anecdotal thing I thought I’d point out for your 50mg per day. I regularly take Vit D3 1,000 - 2000iu/day for other reasons. Certainly its not going to make me invincible to Coronavirus. I still need to distant myself & stay away from infected people. There is absolutely no clinical proof a healthy person wont get infected or if infected will have lesser symptoms. Unless you have a Randomised Clinical Trial on people with adequate Vit D levels getting exposed to coronavirus with just a face mask vs people with insufficient Vit D but with full PPE, all these hypothesis on Vitamin consumption to me is just a feel good factor. The problem with such hypothesis is that Vitamins taken at non-toxic levels are just therapeutically not effective against all those claims on anti-inflammatory effects & boosting of immune system. If any its just very minor improvement. A NSAID or Coxib treatment will have far more faster & greater anti-inflammatory effect than Vit D.

This is amazing! I just started taking Vitamin D 3 weeks ago because I live in Northwestern United States. I started taking it because we are notorious for being low, and I could tell my mood was down. Last week I really noticed an improved mood from taking it. Now I know this info about it helping infections. Thanks for the info!

I'm a piano teacher and for 25+ years have sat next to sniffing, coughing students. Vitamin D at 10,000 daily has kept me protected so that I have never had to cancel any lessons because I am sick. Recently spaced out vitamin D and got sick for the first time in all those years. Proved its efficacy to myself.

@@melody.melody Laying out in the sun for an hr between 10 am and 3pm (max ultraviolet times) will get you maxed out at 20,000 IU of vit D, so 1000 is not much if your deficient. Stasha Grominak (on youtube) gives 20,000/day to get blood levels up and it still takes months.

Dr. Campbell would be threatened with being banned from medical practice in the US. Pharma companies hate his down-to-earth approach of treating causes and working WITH the body's responses without using their complicated, patented [expensive] drugs. Drug companies own the medical schools, laboratories, and medical journals, so Dr. Campbell's excellent life-saving, common-sense advice could ruin his chances in the US for "fitting in" with the drug-based treatments favored by powerful, corporate health officials. Sadly it could be career suicide . God Bless him

This information actually explains very well why my son was so sick as an infant (and young toddler), born late fall, prematurely! No doctor suggested vitamins, but he greatly improved with many months of (adult doses even) crushed vitamins with protein powder, when he was strong enough to eat table food, after having caught chicken pox from a doctor’s visit at a hospital... Later, when I learned to garden, we ate almost exclusively from the garden and he no longer needed daily meds to avoid serious health issues- mostly bacterial infection induced asthma. Not only did an improvement in our diet help, most notably with greens, but apparently playing in the sun while I gardened helped him. I’ll give God the credit for guiding me long before I could access the internet for education... no government necessary, only a willingness to work!

It also helps with autoimmune skin disorders such as psoriasis. It's ironic that US television have been inundated with commercials for new biologic drugs such as Humira to treat something like psoriasis especially given that treatment with Humira in the US costs about $4,000 per month. Of course, they have testimonials from celebrities as to how effective these biologics are. I wonder how much of the high price is to the vanity aspect of treating something like psoriasis.
