0:00 Intro
7:15 Vitamin D bolsters your immune system.
9:50 Pediatric sleep apnea symptoms: teeth clinching and grinding at night, snoring, poor behavior, ADHD, bed wetting.
11:30 You can change the trajectory of your child’s life by understanding vitamin D3, vitamin K2, magnesium, and sulfur.
13:45 Vitamin D is one of the most important hormones in your body.
17:15 Complete sun avoidance raises your risk of melanoma.
20:40 We are made of 20 amino acids.
22:10 Hydrogen has 3 isotopes: protium, deuterium, and tritium.
28:20 The lower the deuterium in your food the healthier it is for you.
29:50 Fasting allows the mitochondria electron transport chain to create enzymes in deuterium depleted water.
30:00 Glyphosate and deuterium destroy your mitochondria’s ability to generate high levels of electron flow.
31:30 The Krebs cycle steps are a dehydration step for removing deuterium, replacing it with a hydrogen.
32:00 When your deuterium levels are high, your cells will want to replicate.
32:40 Being in the sun, intermittent fasting, and eating ketogenic/high fat quality foods depletes deuterium.
33:30 We evolved from plants.
35:10 Glyphosate poisons the soil and our gut microbiome.
35:30 Mitochondria came into existence as a light sensing bacterium which was engulfed by another bacteria.
36:10 Deuterium is twice the weight of hydrogen, so it breaks or slows the mitochondrial rotor.
40:30 Autophagy requires vitamin D to function.
45:30 Water your body produces is preferred by your body for reactions.
0:30 Deuterium-rich foods: flour, carbohydrates, starches.
52:30 Sleep apnea syndrome comes from the gut microbiome, which is regulated by vitamin D.
55:10 Ruminant meat and dairy are the foods lowest in deuterium.
59:30 The enzymes that make vitamin D active are destroyed by glyphosate.
01:03:00 Seed oils are from plants high in deuterium.

@scottk1525 Actually, if one is going into any subject matter beyond just the most surface or introductory level , they are in fact, going into that subject more deeply. Headed deeper into it? Well, then they ARE taking a “deep dive”… so he’s pretty accurate in using such terminology. Repeating this description has never bothered me in the lease, however, I do encounter the frequent use of some specific words from some content creators (or others sources) that, for some unknown reason, just to be as insanely irritating as can be… so I get you. But in my case, I just TRY to use such irritation like sand paper, to, hopefully, rid MYSELF of an irrational annoyance… as the problem, typically, lies within ME and not the user. It’s strange that correctly used, repetitive, phrasing, ( or other such random occurrences) can, at times, grate on our nerves to such a degree, but it and other similar unjustified offenses simply DO occur. Sigh. -In such cases , WE simply have to “own it” and do our best to get over it. Life is too short to allow such “nothing” issues to gain so much control over US and OUR actions and reactions, to no good end. -This message was brought to you and is fully endorsed by: my-opinion-only.com and is worth little to nothing in the overall scheme of things… and as such, is free for the taking… or tossing.

@@gigics6695 " *Actually, if one is going into any subject matter beyond just the most surface or introductory level , they are in fact, going into that subject more deeply* " No shit. But there are countless other ways to convey this. "Deep drive" has run its course as a trendy catchphrase. Now it's just an overused cliché. And if literally every episode is a "deep dive," then it goes without saying, and doesn't need to be announced every single time. " *I just TRY to use such irritation like sand paper, to, hopefully, rid MYSELF of an irrational annoyance…* " Brilliant. Sounds like stoicism. Definitely the right way to look at it. But we all have our moments of weakness. And "deep dive" just cuts right through me sometimes (same with "pivot.")

My old self would be astonished at me today- I am no longer a believer in fluoride or low fat, high fiber/“good carb” diet. *since going low to no carb lifestyle, my husband no longer grinds his teeth or snores!!

D3 regulates gut micro biome and therefore the production of B5. If D3 is low it may cause low B5. If B5 is low it will cause low Acetylcholine. AC required for regulation of “fight/flight” and “rest/repair” mechanisms and low AC leads to insomnia and apnea. Deuterium just slows down enzyme reaction speeds and the efficiency of mitochondria.

Interesting podcast, Mike I live in the UK, tried to get vit d & k for the winter season but having problems purchasing them as most of them have ingredients that are toxic eventhough manufacturers stated they are no nasties ingredients. I do alot of walking all year round and eat food that contains good essentials nutrients. I am 69 yrs, felt alot healthy since I stop listening to so call professionals, governments, media's and influencer telling us what to eat and buy. Shop organic, free range meat & vegs from local farmers and independent shops. Supermarkets are no longer providing nutritional, good & healthy for the public. Watching your podcasts & other honest youtubers giving good informations .

What? The mitochondria overloading would contradict the hormetic stressors hypothesis. Why would it weaken/damage mitochondria instead of causing decoupling and creating positive effects? Like any other stressors on the mitochondria...

Asking these questions is fantastic and this guy might not get everything right - he is not shy about stating 'in his opinion' - but he is clearly far more knowledgeable than the laymen and at least from my perspective many different people having health-related conversations all seem to end up at 'seed oils, pesticides, processed foods, sugar are decimating our health'.

@joykelly567
@joykelly567 8 ай бұрын
I wonder if you have tried different forms of vitamin D3 & had the same blotching?. Since vitamin D3 is a hormone precursor, there is most likely a hormonal influence that manifests in the skin's capillary bed. It could be from cortisol release/shunting to vital organs. Do you have pain or discomfort with the blotchiness? How long does the blotchiness last? It there anything that changes it? Since vitamin D is an essential nutrient for health & wellness, there shouldn't be a bad reaction to pure vitamin D. It may be that your supplement isn't easily tolerated & you may need a different form to properly metabolize it without a bad effect. Also, the blotchiness may actually be a beneficial stimulation of the capillary beds, and not a bad thing at all--just different from your normal skin circulation--much like a niacin flush. People complain about niacin flushing, but I don't see it as a negative thing. It appears to be a rush of niacin to depleted receptors that desperately need niacin. Maybe you could make a dosing & photo journal of the reaction & show it to a holistic practitioner to see what their take is on it.

Some really interesting information, glad i tuned in. However, as a lacto-vegetarian have to disagree about the emphasis on eating grass fed meat. There is always a spiritual aspect to our exsistance that is often over looked in these discussions about health. We are spirtual entities having a human experience, we need to understand that, and give that the priority. A diet that repects ahimsa or non-violence while also paying attention to the health of our earthly vessel balances both concerns.

No hydrogen water has hydrogen gas H alone diffused in the water. Its just random extra hydrogen atoms floating in the water. Heavy water is made with an isotope of hydrogen which actually has a neutron. Hydrogen normally does not have any neutrons, its the smallest atom with only a proton.

How does one avoid glyphosate when veritable RIVERS of it are sprayed upon EVERYTHING and beyond, affecting not only those specific plants, and ‘in the vicinity organic properties’ but also beneficial insects. …? It stays on the ground for at least 6 months, affects all animal life subsequently happening upon those areas - birds, insects, pets, children, one & all, and ultimately contaminates the water table. It’s intentional. And on the home front every ignoramus has access to, and uses it as though it were water, with little regard to time of day or wind condition application. Thus affecting not only the bees, butterflies, birdlife but also everyone within radius or wind cast …

The activity or the ability of vitamin d to be useful and active in the body has much to do with the vitamin d receptors, not 'how much' D is in your body. Vitamin d is stored in fat tissue, so there is no absolute way to determine if you are replete or deficient, and the storage D test, 25OH test is like testing the fuel line in your car to see how much gas is in the tank, same difference in misleading results.

Either this man is an undiscovered genius or he is just stringing together a lot of science jargon with little in the way of a real argument. Would have been a lot better interview if he was challenged a bit more at each stage of what appears not to be a very connected string of facts. Personally I think he snowed you but I could be wrong…

I am from Canada, I should be really good at a "snow job" I have a lot of podcasts out there, with different perspectives, and different ways that I present my material. I have spent the last seven years doing a "deep dive" (you are fine Mike, it was a deep dive...) into these subjects, I am not always 100% accurate, because my knowledge base, experience and opinions change, but everything I discuss has multiple peer reviewed studies, and the laws of physics supporting it. If you have any thoughts on exactly which parts are not accurate, I am open to discussion. I may also be an undiscovered genius, please let Joe Rogan know, I am eager primarily to share my information about pediatric craniofacial growth and development.

I agree with the guest so far as I have listened. There are reports also of identical twins growing into their 30's with one having his tonsils/adenoids out at a young age and growing up eating the same foods etc. The one that had surgery (removed tonsils=more open airway) remained thin into his 30's+ but his brother became barrel chested and died in his 30's of undx/tx obstructive sleep apnea (hrt failure). I only wonder how much vitamins will help after puberty for jaw expansion/or even during. I grew up on the Gulf Coast and lived on the beach all summer as a kid (rarely ever used sunscreen) thru HS and still had crowded teeth due to smaller lower jaw (Class2) and had teeth removed for braces.

Can we get more practical information? The Nordic Naturals children's product he suggests is D but no K so that's not right. What product gives kids D3 AND k2? And which magnesium is best for kids? Need specifics - there are many different forms of magnesium. My kids won't drink an entire glass of water with the Calm powdered product that is so popular...it's a lot for kids to take between gummies and drinks (that are supposed to be consumed within minutes to be effective), etc. so parents have to be mindful that they don't give too many supplements lest their kids revolt!! And many of us have kids who can't swallow pills yet so we are still beholden to gummies/powders. Seriously guys, what brand? Help moms out so we can actually do this. I've heard that taking one solitary mineral throws off other minerals. That taking magnesium can throw off copper or sulphur. Are we sure it's safe to give kids magnesium indefinitely?

Would your kids enjoy/tolerate an epsom salt bath? Transfer magnesium through the skin? Believe it or not, I give my cat weekly epsom salt baths bc the magnesium is so calming for him.

Great interview. However, I only ever hear this theory presented as fact of how mitochondria were bacterium that were combined with another type of cell. This is a fanciful idea, and there is no way to prove that it happened that way. Reckless speculation at best.

Lot of flags raised from this talk for me too! A lot of them red. Half truths. I will just raise one… there are many. The Dentist here said he never developed his 2nd premolars because of calcium deficiency. No. That is genetic. You would still develop them they would just be very very weak. All your teeth would be weak. You’d have flat feet and bowed legs too. There are many more, but whatever… I’ll probably get attacked enough for this simple observation

Sorry I know this isn't the point of this video but I feel I must comment on this. If your child is grinding their teeth has insomnia and or wetting the bed it's a good chance they're under a lot of chronic stress from being abused or bullied. Yes chronic stress depletes vitamin D but just getting them on supplements or better food choices isn't solving what's most important. Get them to a therapist. Please don't worry about offending parents or putting your nose where it don't belong if you see these things in other children do something about it. Sorry again I know that's not what he was there to discuss. Wishing everyone wellness and peace 🌻💕

The shortest story being that my dad saw a Kaiser dermatologists for 30 years for what they said was an autoimmune disorder, he left Kaiser and it was actually SKIN CANCER. But what would a Canadian know? It's probably slightly better than their socialized system.
