I was searching for a male version of this song, and I happened to stumble across him. I instantly adored him the SECOND I heard him sing his FIRST NOTE!

This is really gorgeous. Vittorio's singing has such grace and elegance and, in this song, romance. He's showing great promise in opera -- may his star continue to rise!

I started listening to Vittorio when he made his first CD! I absolutely adore his voice. But I can see where those who aren't (ear) trained to opera music wouldn't like his music. I remember what Richard Gere said about Opera in the movie 'Pretty Woman' and it's true. "If you don't like it you'll always hate it. But if you love it, it becomes a part of your soul forever." It was just a line in the movie but it was an oh-so-true line.

@Fegen Yes, I saw Vittorio sang Rodolfo at the Met Production of La Boheme on November 1. He was fantastic, and was a lot calmer than his first night. My money is on Vittorio to become the next big opera star. I just hope with so much hype surrounding him for his Met debut that he would not burn out quickly. He is so young and his voice is still developing. With great pacing of his career, he should make it.

Quit being so damn nit picky...listen to Justin Berber...he is more your speed. This is for the people with taste...and his singing is magnificent.

He isn't worse than many English speaking singers who try to sing in other languages and you can't actually make out the words. I understand Italian and German and notice it a lot.

I love Vittorio's voice and in opera he is superb, but there is a better version of this also sung by a tenor ..... Tito Beltran sings this in the original Spanish on his album A Tenor at the Movies and it is just mind blowing.

@isabellemarie89 Thankyou for your comment.There are very few cross over artists around these days.Certainly none of the calibre like Mario Lanza.Great singers who are born in multi lingual family are very rare.He has a lovely voice.Why spoil it tyring to sing english classics?
