The best part about this band was that all the 5 girls were selected through a reality show - India’s first reality show - Channel V presents Coke V Popstars. No nonsense drama like today! All the girls were hardworking and trained in different genres of music. All the 8 songs are composed by different musicians who experimented with the range of the singers. Different music composers such as Shankar Ehsaan Loy (Hum Naye Geet Sunayein), Jahan Ho Pyar Ka Mausam (Jatin Lalit), Mujhe Zindagi Main Ek Dost Chahiye (Shantanu Moitra), Ja Sakte Ho (Sandeep Chowta), Kisse Pochein (Raju Singh), Tumko Hai Agar Pyar Mujhe (Ashu Dhruv), Jaago Zara (Salim Sulaiman) and Kaali Mai Diya Salai (not sure). The lyrics were penned by Javed Akhtar. Each girl had a different USP and this band was the epitome of Indian pop music! After their disbanding, Indian pop industry when downhill and Infact today there is no originality in Indian music (Bollywood) itself!

Every song has its own flavour and depth... I use to listen VIVA during my school and every song and singers was my inspiration... Now after so many years when I listen them the feeling is the same it hasn't changed at all, Infact now I understand the depth of every word more clearly ❤❤❤

20 years! 💓 Thank you for the fantastic quality of this upload. Viva! was an asset to indipop and this album from the songwriting to the music to the actual singing was phenomenal. Got me through some tough times as a teen. it is a pity they didn't go on to create more music as a group.

Wow! This album is great! I happy to have been able to hear their collection of music. I discovered this group on KZfaq in like 2010-11 when I became even more interested in Indian music and dance. At that time I only knew of Jahan Ho Pyaar Ka Mausam, Kisse Poochein, Tumko Hai Agar Pyaar Mujhse, and Jaago Zara. Of course there’s a language barrier as a Black American (I’ve learned a few words here and there since I enjoy various places, languages, the Arts and cultures)...but I LOVE this group!!✨✨✨

They made only 2 albums as VIVA because they gave their best and produced such incredible songs and created history for following generations to make something equivalent to this album. They don't have to make more songs these two albums are enough. ❤️

My childhood... I used to buy cassettes out of my savings on my school days... And then I loved these songs very much.. Today, suddenly i remembered and searched and found it on KZfaq... Now I am back in my Childhood.. thanks for sharing... Dont know where all these singers now a days???

Anushka is in Music Composing as well. Seema Ramchandani has left the industry and now she sings in Public ocasions and Bhajans for religious events.

enjoy what you have instead of crying about back story of this band , end of story is they are meant to release two albums only , you cant get much pieces of bread if you divide between 5 ,so they parted to find individuals bread for themselves Period!
