It didn't make me laugh. It DID bring me joy. It was exciting and heartwarming and I would recommend it. It made me smile and that is truly something.

It was amazing. I expected a funny skit and it was a legit movie. VLDL was already my favorite yt channel but Baelin's Route really raised the bar

Think of the jobs they created with Baelin's route. People were able to feed their families because of the crowd funding. It was truly something.

Not to knock on what you said, but the crew they hired definitely are not struggling for gigs. They showed their capabilities here, and I'm sure they are a fairly good production team.

For anyone who at least likes the video game pop culture, funny writting, and skitts about people beeing dumb but touching: I definitelly recommend VLDL. Those guys are talented and fun as hell. I'm not a big supporter of social media, "influencers" and whatever, but this is gold work.

Totally agree, these guys are great. The level of drama in some videos are just wow 👍 “why wont U die” “because I believe in something” .... “dodge this” 😁 👍 love it Could never call myself a fan of anybody but these guys definitely changed it. Thank You Gents for your work. 🤝

They are the only youtubers that play roles and dont stuff their face into the camera for poor jokes, click bait or dumb controversy as someone like logan paul and the ton of other idiots do

Yeah, it's weird to hear them even described as influencers. I hear influencers, and I think of the weird, overly dramatic stuff like Logan Paul, the ones where the channel is about the person. VLDL is just a channel that makes skits, sure the people behind it are pretty famous, but their lives aren't the focus of the channel. It's like if you described a famous violinist as a celebrity. Sure, they technically are famous, and therefore a celebrity, but the connotations don't quite line up. Using such a vague term as "celebrity" ignores a lot of why they are famous.

@@MatthewSmith-sz1yq Late, but I fully agree. Especially after the success of this second Kickstarter and their new studio about to happen. Alan said it best. They're (now) a production company that uses KZfaq as a platform, and they're doing that to retain full control of their content.

Nothing beats an NPC deviating from his designated route .. Baelin Route has West World vibes written all over it .. The real magic of an RPG is when the NPC plays the role of the human adventurer ..

@@DizRupTnz Well yes absolutely, but it wasn't in the public consciousness until HBO did their series. I never once heard it mentioned and to my understanding the film was only moderately successful. Perhaps VLDL was inspired by that film but I doubt it. The original concept was "an NPC that becomes aware of his surroundings". Whereas the Westworld film, as I understand it, was the generic "Robots become murderous to humans" without any awareness of their actions.

In polish youtube we have G.F. Darvin. They do less of short skits and more longer vids (and I do believe there are english subs). It's amazing to see what a great things can passionate people create

I think the part they do way better than Hollywood for making games into shows is knowing when to make things serious and when to make the scene comically game accurate.

Baelin's route is amazing and a delight to watch, especially considering the journey to get to the point where they could make something of this scale. I would absolutely recommend VLDL to anyone that is into gaming.

Both Freddie and Corridor Digital realized that the only way to make good content that they like making is making it on their terms. Hollywood and TV doesn't care about online success no matter how big. I hope you stick to what you love and if you want to grow it then do it on your own instead of trying to get traction from main stream entertainment. Keep up the awesome Viva La Dirt League.

I would totally watch a series based solely on Baelin: A fisherman who fights crime on his way to work. At the end of each fight he will say: Nice day for ain't it, huh huh! Omg can you imagine how good that will be?

Honestly, VLDL is the most promising and talented young filmmakers' team with rich imagination, great potential and big dreams that I've seen in years! Absolutely love their work and believe in their future (including real feature films). Keep going that way, guys! :) Just please, please don't change the actor for Baelin's role - Rowan is the perfect Baelin, can't (and don't want to) imagine anybody else in this role. :)

These guys are each actors/film makers in their daily but they cracked the code on how to bring what they love doing at work and infusing it into what they love doing at home. Plus, they are presenting it on a scalable place, where anyone can watch. Lastly, they can do all of this while having financial backers, who love the brand and the actors, that are well outside of the traditional cable companies. The industry is shifting and VLDL is one of the first folks to do it and do it strikingly well. Bravo.

Why is there no mention of Ben Van Lier? I love VLDL! I've seen everything that they've ever done, and Baelin's Route was wonderful :) But Ben Van Lier's been a part of everything they've done from the start. Bored, NPC Man, Tarkov, and others. He should have some credit as well. Hamish Parkinson hasn't done as much, but he's good as well :)

@@kirstymca Actually he is, Ben Van Lier is a member of VLDL, and has been for many years. He's one of the 4 main characters in Tarkov, PubG, and NPC Man :)

im not sure how it goes. I know the three of them are the original trio. I think Ellie joined next and then Ben, for the skits. There was Britt, in the early phase, especially in many Epic NPC Man episodes. And we all love her. and Ben and Ellie. And Hamish. And Brian, Bryon, Bryghton was it.... Ah you know, he's been working there for years! Anyway i think Alan and Rowan started it and Adam was on board almost from the start. The others all belong there, but they're actors while these three also plan and produce etc.

@@JH-zs3bs I think what differentiates being a full time member is whether Viva is their full time job. Rowan, Alan, and Adam all don't have jobs aside from Viva, while Ben and the others still take acting roles from other places I believe.
