I'm a beginner, I wanted to work on the Vivaldi A minor concerto, I ordered the music online and started working on it today. I just realised now I've ordered that concerto for two violins instead, quite above my technical level : that's why I was so discouraged trying to sightread it 😂 (it's actually not so hard, but definately harder than the other concerto I planed to work on). Now that I have it I guess I will keep working on it too 😆).

The first piece of Baroque music I fell in love especially that first movement, and i first heard it on modern instruments, so I bought the whole set of l'estro armonico by vivaldi some 18 years ago,

I love this. I played the first movement of this concerto memorized with 8 other violinists 3 times this year. I practiced this song so many times I don't even want to hear the name of it again! But it's good to listen to it from time to time.

Wish I had equally skilled accomponist violinist that I could play this with. Playing Solo is in no way comparable to a combination like this and doesn’t nearly bring out the magnitude of this piece
