Johann Sebastian Bach, in my view the greatest composer who ever lived, who is called The Fifth Evangelist, and who changed and glorified music forever, got his inspiration from Vivaldi.

Yes, most of the great English and German composers traveled to Italy see and hear the great Italian composers such as Antonio Lucio Vivaldi. It is a known fact amongst classical music enthusiasts and experts that Bach liked Vivaldi and admitted he was influenced by him.

@@tomnelson7898 Vivaldi,Caldara,Lotti,e hanno copiato anche dai compositori della scuola napoletana,vedi il magnificat di Durante.nel tardo barocco Mozart ha trascritto alcune parti del requiem di Antonio Lotti.

Several years ago my church choir performed this piece. I found it challenging , yet gratifying. The end result was well worth the hard work we did during rehearsals.

This is one of the most unique and wonderful performances of this masterpiece I have heard. The prominence of the harpsichord is truly enchanting, and the sopranos are in celestial company, and the baroque instruments, oboe, trumpet and theorbo add to the charm of this performance.

What a wonderful execution of this lovely work. What I find most appreciative is the fact that the conductor held back on two pieces are usually so fast as to be off the races. The soprano fuet and the Domine Fili Unigenite. I apologize for any misspellings.

The Vivaldi Gloria is a treasure not only with the baroque instruments but the angelic voices. I will be in a performance playing the continuo part in Wausau, Wisconsin at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Wausau Symphony Orchestra.

Domine Fili Unigenite. Even though Vivaldi composed this, I don't think he understood how beautiful that piece is. It's so magical in its tempo, harmony and structure. The altos could make you cry if you really listen to it.

This is fantastic. I love the spirited crisp singing and playing. I'm learning this piece currently with our local choral society and this version is the one I come back to again and again to listen and learn from. Congratulations to all involved, especially the Chorus Angelicus.

Esta obra me gustó a pesar de mis expectativas sobre la misma, quiero decir, me gusta la sinfonía de las orquestas, pero en ocasiones se pueden tornar aburridas y repetitivas. Con esta obra, me sentí tranquilo pero expectante, y fue un agradable acompañamiento para realizar mis trabajos

Esta obra me parece magnifica, un deleite al escucharla y es de esperarse de una obra de vivaldi que personalmente considero uno de los mejores compositores, sin quitarle crédito a la orquesta y coro que la ha presentado, y personalmente me parecen igual de excelentes.

Es encantador la interpretación de esta obra del periodo barroco en sus condiciones más fieles a las de la época, pues en ese entonces, las iglesias eran por excelencia, el lugar donde esta música selecta y celestial se ejecutó.
