Not impossible, but it depends on a few things. The problem with Android pre Kitkat is the audio latency, but a tracker is perhaps less affected by it compared to other music making apps. Then, the lack(?) of features like AudioCopy and Audiobus in Android (which allows you to copy samples from other apps and stream audio to other apps) makes Android less appealing to me. But Android is rising as a music mobile platform. It might have other interesting features that I haven't heard about. Anyway, VividTracker is not FT2 compatible to start with. It can only read and write Amiga modules, not s3m or xm modules. I wanted to make a clean Amiga tracker without having to adjust the interface to other module formats. So you might get disappointed if you're expecting an FT2 tracker.

The app comes with a module filled with 26 drum samples and another module filled with 31 different instrument samples. However, the app includes support for AudioCopy, which means you can copy audio to the app from other apps supporting AudioCopy (including Korg iM1 app, if you own it). :-)

Hello. VividTracker is a clone of Protracker for the Amiga computer. I haven't made any newbie tutorials because most users know Protracker inside and out and thus have not asked for it. There are however a lot of Protracker tutorials on KZfaq that you could take a look at to learn the basics about music trackers.

I loved MED, too! The samples in this demo are giving me goosebumps! Many of them were used frequently by Dr. Awesome (Bjorne Lynne) & Fleshbrain (Seppo Hurme) of Crusaders. Fleshbrain was the best Amiga musician, bar none. His Graveyard piece was exemplary. The remix was even better. I miss those days so much 8-(.
