Vivien Leigh has been my favorite actress for ten years now. It's such a pity that she wasn't able to make more films...she must have found peace in heaven, because she is an angel. I love her.

How much sadness in her eyes! Nothing left of the joyful, brilliant years of her youth

Thanks for a lovely tribute, Monique. She kept her beauty right up until the end and sadly left us far too soon.

Vivien was stunning to the end, but I'm perplexed by the eye make-up in some of the scenes from Ship of Fools----looked more appropriate for the stage than film.

Thank you for this wonderful and heartfelt tribute! Vivien Leigh was an outstanding and consummate actress and in my opinion the most beautiful woman that ever graced the silver screen! I wish that "The Deep Blue Sea", one of her last films, would be finally made available on DVD or Blu-ray. Her performance in it was so touching, nuanced and powerful!

She certainly played the fading coquette (“Streetcar Named Desire” and “Ship of Fools”) with great skill.
