Our story of bringing home our amazing daughter from China in April of 2017. The road to and through adoption is a difficult one paved with loss. This video depicts the joy of bringing our daughter into our family without really sharing the hard stuff. However, make no mistake about it, the hard stuff was worth it.

We used the HOLT adoption agency and adopted a baby from China back in 1990. She was incredibly gifted and excelled at everything she was interested in. She mastered The violin the oboe the bassoon and a special Chinese stringed instrument. she is in her third year residency for pediatric neurosurgery . this has an eight year to nine year residency program . I wish we were young enough to do this again because the years have absolutely flown past on a rocket!

This is beautiful 🥺💙 I’ve been adopted too and I got to know after 16 years but I’m so happy that someone wants me 😭 thank you mum and dad for raising me as your own I’ve been seeing adoption stories again and again since yesterday because yesterday my parents told me. God Bless you. We picked up my niece in 2005 from Guangdong too. Brought so many memories back. We got her at 11 months not walking but my she blossomed like a flower! Vivian is beautiful and her older sister too. Not difficult to see how special your whole family is. Tears flowing. ❤️❤️👏

Agradezco estos vídeos tan lleno de amor..no paro de llorara😢 pero no de tristeza si no de alegría..es una mezcla de todo..cómo le cambian la vida de estos niños huerfanos..aparte otra cultura diferente...pero el mismo amor maternal y gran corazón solidario de esta familia y la nena que quiso una hrmanita👭 occidental..seguro serán muy felices y bendecidos con esta bebita👶 hermosa❤🙏queremos ver la evolucion de la bebe cómo se va adaptando a su nuevo hogar bendito..😘

Can you imagine the emotions going through mum at 04:55 - the first smile !. It must go a long way to soften the memory of the baby crying at the hand-over !. Beautiful child now has a beautiful family - awesome !

I love this video. I also love your later videos because they all show the silly interactions you have with your daughters. A mom that will make faces and act silly with her children. These are priceless. Your elder daughter is a wonderful big sister and she has the most beautiful, amazing eyes. Hopefully most of the hard stuff is behind you. I'm not crying... you're crying! (OK, it's me.) My own two daughters (also adopted from China) are in their 20s, and sometimes I wish I was young enough to do it again... and then I'll go down a rabbit hole watching adoption videos. Yours is beautiful! I had to go look up "Hello Lovely" because it's absolutely perfect in this video.

I've been watching these orphans in Vietnam & was so happy to find your video of adoption. I cried from how beautiful it is. The second you met your new daughter, there was instant love of a mom with her child. Your other daughter was so excited too! Seeing her smile with her new family was absolutely awesome!
