As a bee-ginner I’ve been looking around at different extractors. And while the hand crank saves money…..how much hand cranking do I really want to do once I get up around 30+ hives? My concern wass that they go at 1300rpm which seems pretty fast. I noticed that yours has a speed controller which seems better. “After 105 degrees you lose all the good stuff in the (bee vomit) honey”….nice…

I am a bit frustrated with the vevor honey extractor also. But it was a hundred dollars cheaper for me than the next maker, so I had to accept that. There's a lot you can do with a hundred dollars you know... so anyway. But I got the 3 frame hand extractor instead of the 4 frame. One issue right away that I found was that its designed wrong and messed up so that the ears of the frames stick out and bang against the top of the extractor, which is hard to fix. I tried bend the bottoms of the frame holders which seems easiest to do but they don't bend easy and never seem to bend enough, so it feels like I'm always fixing this. ... *** There is one modification that helped me immensely that you can do that will make the extractor much easier to use! This is that the bottom of the legs have screw holes. Instead of bolting this to the floor, what I did was to bolt them to a wood square panel. (Metal would work also). But the idea was that I did this so that I could still move the extractor and then also put a cinder block on the bottom panel that the legs are attached to, to give it some anchoring power. The extractor is then still movable but the cinder block helped.*** Sorry I can't offer any modification help for kids getting in your shop. The FDA doesn't allow anchor bolts on children until they get past the teenage phase yet. But I'm sure Fauci or Bill Gates is working on that one. ... One thing I wanted to ask is ... because the extractors are such a pain... is there a way to warm honey to do like a heat strain extractor method similar to crush and strain? Or will this make the honey taste bad? How do you warm honey for extraction without messing it up?

I'm looking forward to the day I get an electric extractor! Hardest thing with hand crank is keeping a steady speed without going too fast or too slow. Maybe I'll do a video on mine. Lol 😂

I bought one I just did it on my table or on the floor without the legs when it gets where the comb hit the honey I just put it on the table and drain it it works great

man, losing hives just suck no matter how it happens. a local guy here in South Plains of Texas lost 100+ hives when someone crop dusted. ouch
