Vivo should have added a headphone jack and a 6000mah battery with an aggressive cooling solution to cool that SoC. Would have been a monster!

The reason there isn't a headphone jack is that people who are in the market for 1k phones mostly have the means to afford wireless headphones or own one

@@captainawesome7430 yes , but wireless headphones can't have the same sound quality of wired . Also you don't need to charge them . Some people prefer using wired . Coming from a wireless headphone user .

It's jumping between the main 2X find 5X camera when you shoot at night depending on how dark it is it use the 2X if it's to dark to use the 5x or main if it's to dark to use either zoom Lenses even if it's over 5X all the time.. my Samsung S22 Ultra also jumps between the 3X and 10X when it's dim lighting even though I'm over 10X

Good to see you back. Your videos are always excellent, but I'd be interested on your take about these "behemoths". At 7", this is only 0.2" bigger than lots of the larger phones. I had a Mate 20X (7.2") for a few years before it started to die, so had to downgrade the screen size to a 6.8" S22 Ultra. I wish phone makers would start making properly big phones again.

I knew about the mate 20 x but didn't know it had such a huge display. 😂I'm shocked and I'm trying to imagine my p30 pro which has a 6.48 in comparison to 7.2

I have the Mate 20X as well. Mine is still working fine, but I am orienting on which phone I would get if mine dies. I agree that there is too little choice in big phones these days. This Vivo could be a nice replacement, pity it has curved edges though. I prefer flat screens.

This truly is a missed opportunity for vivo to make a rival vs the s22 ultra by not including a pen. If this had a pen inside it would be the perfect note.

I think pen supports on a phone is very niche and undoubtably VIVO have done their market research and found that its market has little interest in pen support. The S22U does not sell great in China so it is not a much desired feature.

If it comes with the pen so it would be much more expensive and it might be difficult for Vivo to compete in the market where ultra is available everywhere and has smoothest stylus software. This phone is not for that kind of segmentation

@@aimbuzz then I really don't see the purpose of this smartphone. It's a slightly bigger x70 pro+ with a new chip. If it had a pen it would be in a totally different category

There are so many phones that Nick could review in the past couple of weeks but due. to China Perfection Cleansy "In Dream" from Covid in Shang Hai so there is no delievery can reach to Nick (food, water, etc. everything is continue to be scarce). I'm hoping the GT Neo 3 review to come out sooner this month and even the OnePlus ACE too.

I live in China too and no, it isn't as bad as it seems. There has been a few cases of pets being killed and a few apartment complexes not receiving food, but the media makes it seem like all 25 million people are starving.

1:11. It's called mountain blue as mountains in the far distance look blue due to rayleigh (light ) scattering. Hence we have Blue Mountains in Australia & Jamaica and Blue Ridge mountains in Eastern USA. I thought blue mountains is a common expression that need not be explained.
