Fun fact: the X100 Pro is still 95% Ultra without the price tag and connectivity issues you'll find by importing (unless not sold in your country). You're better of buying the Pro instead of the Ultra since it's cheaper but just as capable.

All 3 camera sensors of X100U are new, never used before on Vivo Flagship so X100U requires optimization for 2 months at least even the isp v3+ is the first one. X100 pro use previous sensors and the optimization has been done before. The camera potential of X100U is huge and it's fair to give it more time.

You put find x7 ultra in the title and you compare the photos with pixel 8 😂 this has been a waste of my time

Vivo X100 Pro is a great value for money phone, I have used it for a few months, and it performs very well. I have a high expectation of its big brother, but the performance of the Vivo X100 Ultra is not satisfying at all.

You go into the important details most phone nerds want to know. Unlike most KZfaqrs that are all reading from the same boring script, its insane.

I think ,VIVO x100 PRO is a perfect balance phone even the price range is perfect for many users. I'll ppickup x100 pro any day any time over all the ultra models are available in the market. I think x100 ultra need more updates for optimization and the camera output. Bro you have to wait little bit bcz its a new device and will receive updates to optimise it like the other models you compared,bcz all those model had issues with optimisation or bugs when it released...so don't judge vivi bcz as you said..they made the X100 pro to an ultimate after released through several updates...

Great review/comparison. No holding back, and called it bad when it's bad.👍 They will probably make things better with firmware updates, but i agree, you buy a phone for what it is when you buy it, not for what it potentially could be after future updates.

Hello Hans, i am a big fan of your honest reviews, i am planning to upgrade my s23U. I have been wanting to buy the Vivo x100 pro. But now confused between x100 pro and Oppo x7Ultra. I cancel my plans to consider Xiaomi 14Ultra and vivo x100 ultra after ur video. Today i got a good offer for Xiaomi 14ULTRA, but i cancelled it. Can u help me to choose between this two ? For me i need good camera than s23Ultra and good macro photo capabilities and good heat management. Can u help me please. Last note: i consider sony Xperia 1 iv also but its very expensive.

Where is photo comparison with x7 ultra??

I had really big expectations for X100U since they compared it to Thanos. It should have had the best camera performance out of the box with those best sensors. The camera performance is a totally disappointment, I didn't expect this from Vivo. Releasing products 6 months after the Pro model release and having so many bugs and bad performance is unacceptable. CPU and GPU performance are also comparable to Sony flagship which is considered to be the worst sd8g3 smartphone. Battery also not optimized, that sot of just 5h58m is unacceptable even worse than p8p which is bullied because of it's battery life but 80w charging speed is okay in my opinion, 120w should have been the choice since it's an "ultra"phone. Otherwise everything is great in my opinion such as display, speakers, design and build quality. Did you receive the latest camera update brother Han for this x100u since many leakers said that the latest update fixed their previous issues. And what about those 50mp or 200mp raw telephotos, are they really as good as hyped? Great review as usual brother Han. Canceled my purchase of x100u and waiting for the next gen smartphones. ❤❤❤

Vivo X100 Ultra is just a spin off edition of Vivo X100 Pro, Nothing Special

I was a Vivo fan before, I thought that the Vivo X100 Ultra would be the best camera phone of 2024, but your video told me the truth, Vivo X100 Ultra is exaggerated.

Vivo X100 Pro is kinda a perfect phone, but the Vivo X100 Ultra is way worse than the other ultra phones.

I imported a vivo x100 pro and am very happy with it. The ultra's camera performance right now is somewhat disappointing but with software updates it will surpass all other phones I think.

I needed a candybar to complement my fold 5, so I went with the x100 ultra 1tb. My first chinese phone ever. Can`t wait to receive it :D

Fun Touch OS is not that good. Vivo may adopt the Colour OS.

I have Vivo X100 pro and trust me Origin OS is not that great as you are saying. In fact it is quite frustrating. Maybe in China it's ok to use. But outside of it is pretty bad. In my view with two months of everyday use as my daily driver, I can easily say that the Origin OS is the real let down of X100 pro. I should have purchased the global version. Maybe it was going to be a better choice.

Very interresting review 👍 The camera results with the Vivo X100 Ultra is as bad as the Oppo Find X7 Ultra (blured photos). Maybe the issue comes from the sensor Sony LYT-900, that they share. I'm disappointed by the X7 Ultra, as the X6 Pro was my favorite phone in 2023. By having testing most of these 2024 phones, I'm convinced that the Vivo X100 Pro and Xiaomi X14 Ultra have better photos. Different result for a different year, things are changing every year. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra may be my favorite one for 2024. And a key point is, that only the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is available in Global Version 😁

I own x100pro and I can say, camera is far good than s24 ultra/iPhone 15pro max Only thing it lags behind is OS - overall experience. VIVO SHOULD CHANGE THEIR FUNTOUCH TO COLOR-OS or VANILLA OS (pixel)
