I've been using a home built tent for the past couple of years. It was serviceable but short, making working in it cramped and uncomfortable. I recently ordered this tent as an upgrade, and can't wait until it arrives! With limited mobility, this looks like a much better solution.👍

I bought the 48x48x80 tent and love it. I also purchased the 6” inline fan and filter combo, and it worked beautifully! I liked it so much, I gave the fan and filter to a friend to try. I ended up just giving it to them as a gift and bought another set!!! Thanks Vivosun, your products are top notch. My grows are consistent, my plants love the environment.

Med Otaku here is a technical review from me , I own a Vivosun 4x4 and a YintaTech 2x4. Yintatech is a piece of crap and from here on out I will only buy Vivosun mylar tents if I ever need a bigger tent. I am a machinist by trade not a professional KZfaq commenter so cut me some slack

Due to my disability / injury i let my sisters bf and his friend help me set this up since they offered to help since i had it in the box for weeks lol it took them like 2 hours or more and it was hilarious lmao they kept undoing each others progress and reversing stuff xD i was like yall really never played with a puzzle as a kid did ya? lol love my tents!

I think these tents are great for starters. I have a 2×4×5 with 2 vs1000 and a 4 inch inline fan with also the vivosun thermometer all vivosun and my plants are growing great!

same here! My tent will be outside (in an unheated shed) and would like to know if I will need to heat the tent during the cold nights (like tonight it is going to be a tiny +6 Celcius). I bought 2 Vivosun 600W grow lights and a filtration kit (VIVOSUN Air Filtration Kit: 4 Inch 203 CFM Inline Fan with Speed Controller, 4'' Carbon Filter and 8 Feet of Ducting Combo ).

I just bought this and I wonder if this can supply say 70-80% of the vegetable needs (i.e., lettuce, swiss chard, tomatoes, herbs, etc) for a family of 3-4 adults, if I set this up with multiple layers? I know it depends on a lot of factors, but just a quick informed guess will be helpful.

thats what im testing! mostly tomatoes peppers and greens, will try cucumbers but they grow so fast and big may not be enough room for a small 4x4

I know that they carry a 110lb weight limit and I do not think i will even be close, but I do want to make it extra secure when I hang the lights and exhaust. Vivosun brand tents are great. But I wouldn't even fuck with the 2 foot by 4 by five feet tent. It's not actually 48 inches long. I've had 2 now I bought 18 months apart from 1 another. The 1st tent was 44 inches long. And the 2nd one I ordered with 2 Marshydro SP250s and after putting one of the lights in I was like why are the sides of the light touching the tent. The light is 39 inches long and this second 2 by 4 by 5 is only 40inches long. Wtf? I thought the 1st tent was just a one off but this ones even shorter than the 1st. And neither are 4 feet long. Think if they are gonna advertise 4 feet long then they should be. My brothers 2×4x5 is 2 feet by 40 inches by 5 feet high too like my 2nd tent. However my 4×4x80 tents are the correct measurements is why I got the 2×4x5 tents in the 1st place to use as propagating seedlings and clones and early vegetation. Get the 3×3 or 4×4 cuz the smaller 2×4x5s are not sized correctly.

While it can, you will need to watch out for pests if there are any around. And you may have a hard time regulating temps if it gets hot out there.

I've been using a 2'x4'x8' closet lined with Mylar which I had no problems with. But now that we "CANNoisseurs" are no longer forced to hide our harmless hobby I invested in this product, albeit a COSTWAY knock-off that is exactly like the slightly more expensive grow tents. There is LITERALLY no differance except price. I like to keep it small and keep it all, and will still employ my perfectly functional closet set up to propagate clones till they are ready to graduate to my larger tent.

Vivosun is run by some very good people. Quality products at reasonable prices and customer service that is second to none. I just put my 36x36x6 tent together an hour ago, by myself. Took me about 25-30 minutes -- piece of cake! Now to set up the Vivosun inline fans, Vivosun speed controller and Vivosun 315w CMH grow light. So this video doesn’t tell you what actual parts are going where. I understand the instructions have it but I’m watching the video for a reason.. secondly I am putting this in a small room with little space. So I do not have the option shown at 1:59 to carry it over the top. So in other words this instruction set will not work for people that don’t have the massive room and space to put it together. Please think about the people that are actually buying this product. Most likely your buying a 4x4 tent because you don’t have a lot of room.. just sayin

There's a guide sheet that comes with the tent, and all the poles are identified with lettters (A, B, C, E, F). I got mine yesterday and was fairly easy to assemble.

I have this exact model. Was easy to set up alone. Use it to start my seedlings then veg out my plants until June then they go outside. Also use it to hang and dry my harvest. I have an exhaust system and all the bells and whistles you need, all fits easily and preforms perfectly.
