It's all well and good that people like an artist's style, but it really gets to me when they copy it. Maybe for practice before finding their own look, but not for posting online. (Nothing against doing fan art of her or her characters as gifts, just copying her style.)

Well yes, I said it is okay as practice before finding their own style. Did you read my entire comment? The point is that in the art community the general etiquette is not to *publicize* your practice if it is in someone else's style.
