I'm not a hardcore VIXX fan and my ass knew Leo and Ken shouldn't have made me feel that way. N is holding on by the fingertips after Leo kept staring into my soul. That color, that cut, those vocals, THEM LOOKS *HOOOOOONNEEEYYYY*

Everytime I think of vixx I think of kml and her freaking out 😂😂

WARNING LONG RANT! Count on VIXX to get a spooky, dark, murderous novel and make it look sexy and make you crave it :)) I completely LOVED their MV honestly, it's so intellectual and artsy, that I can't even stop being in awe by their concept picking. There are so many Easter Eggs, e.g.: at the second chorus when they start going into a line, they're in the order of their age to emphasize the evolution (age-wise) of the kid into the "murderer"; when Leo is playing the air piano, the shadows create a piano, hinting at Beautiful Liar; again, when Leo is with the kid and is imagined as a dual personality, in blue and red, it hints at Whisper; and soooooo many many connections between the book (Perfumer: story of a murderer) and the MV: - it starts with the child looking alone and scared of the outside world, which is what Grenouille (the main character of the book, the murderer) felt for most of his life. - there is a lot of red colour which could symbolise the characters obsession with redheads. - you can see some tools in the background, which are very similar the ones Grenouille used to dissect his victims. - we have mentions of petals a few times such as "harvesting the tears from the petals" (to harvest the scent of the dead body) and "the fallen tears, bloom anew again" (he immortalises the specific scent by extracting it and wearing it on himself. - the petals represent his victims, from which he carefully takes the scent in order for him to form a master scent (rose made from tears of petals) and live a perfect life (in the lyrics the rose symbolises the perfect scent and the creation of it is blooming - he believes that wearing the scent will make him the most powerful person in the world and in symbology the most beautiful bloomed rose) - science, experiements are clearly mentioned through the song and Grenouille had to go through years of mastering how to extract scents and preserve them - his obsession with scent is clearly portrayed "you complete my dizziness" and his mental illness is not in denial "the cord to my sanity that keeps dropping" What I am taking from this concept is that they are known as the group with unique concept - which is good for them as they have their individuality and creative freedom, but it can be hard to survive in a world where mostly mainstream artist succeed. They crave success (as anyone in the industry), but fail to get recognised as much as some of their fellow artist just because of their uniqueness just as Grenouille was rejected by the world because of the same reason. They are trying to let us know that they are in search of that perfect formula which will bring them to the stars and make the world adore them like Grenouille did with his master scent. Honestly, super impressed by them as a whole, P.S. I do not own the "copyright" for the book comparison as I've found it on KZfaq as well, and I've been even more impressed by the whole MV ever since. VIXX is just, a bunch of geniuses with amazing voices. They're just there, in a League of their own. #stanVIXX #stanConceptKings

The piano is not really a piano... I mean.. U see bottles of liquid where the strings of he piano should be... And the liquid seem to be connected to the keys.. Playing the piano is kinda like a metaphor for perfume making.. Like.. musical chords are 3 different notes that work tgt to create a new note(?) (I dont study music so i dont know the technical terms) Perfumes are also a combination of various scents that complement each other.. in the end they create a special unique scent... When i realised that.. i was legit, mindblown..

VIXX was inspired by the book Perfume and the book was possibly inspired by the real like murderer Manuel Romasanta (1809-1863) who killed his travelers (he was a guide), sold their clothes and used their fat to make soap. His excuse was that he turns into a werewolf and because he was so hungry, killed his travelers. He became known as the wolfman. Super interesting!
