The Climber is my favorite manga of all time. I bought Innocent to hopefully get Dark Horse to Publish The Climber. It's been long overdue but I'm glad were getting it. Dark Horse fumbled one of the greatest stories of all time.

Wow I knew the Vagabond deluxe was going to happen sometime! I've slowly been collecting as I can afford them so I can't justify buying them, but so glad others will have the opportunity.

The timing is almost eerie, today I got the 12th and last volume of Vagabond delivered to me. That being said, even if I hadn't collected the VZbig editions before, I probably still would have gotten them instead of the definitive edition, I really like the collage from the spines from them.

I currently have all 12 vizbigs of Vagabond, but since it's my favorite series I gotta get the definitive edition. I also feel like when Inoue finally returns to vagabond, the new volumes will most likely be collected in this format anyway. So might as well have them.

As a yuri fan, Pink Candy Kiss intrests me. Viz previously licensed Hana ni Arashi as well, so this gives me hope that they may license other yuri series. Viz being a subsidiary of Shueisha, a yuri series I want either them or Seven Seas to license is Koi yori Aoku, currently being published by Shueisha. It’s a slow burn gl about two girls who attend different schools but meet by chance on the train, bonding over a shared interest in books. But yeah, regarding the rest of the video, I’m also interested in RuriDragon and My Love Story 14.

If the Vagabond Deluxe edition does well i wouldnt be shocked to see Urasawas catalogue get the same treatment, id love to see what they came up with for Monster and 20th Century Boys Im really excited for Firefly Wedding! Ive been hearing great things about it and it sounds really interesting, ill check out the first few chapters on Comikey beforehand. Between that and Pink Candy Kiss its nice that Viz is expanding the genres Shoujo Beat gets beyond the typical high school romances its been getting for the past couple of years.

The only thing is that the spine of the vagabond omnibus is probably the best in the industry I hope they can preserve it in the definitive edition

I, for one, want everything from Naoki Urasawa in deluxe edition format... But i will take Vagabond on release date for sure.

Vagabond is crazy. Just a few weeks ago a German edition was announced after it had been out of print for 20yrs. Its 2in1 and bigger than the vizbig so i figured i would buy the German one but now...

I wish the Definite edition cover of Vagabond is as amazing as current Vizbig edition of Vagabond

I'm hoping the climber 2-in-1 volumes are similar to the Alice in borderland volumes, would also be nice to see what they do with the spine art!

I am shocked that the climber is is not a hardcover but I hope the paper quality is that compared to the reprint of vagabond singles because the white paper with the heavy ink blacks will give the art its pop hopeful it’s not the off white paper because the art will not showcase itself to its level plus the blacks look a little light

I already own the french version of the Climber so while the english serialization news doesn't affect me, At least I'm glad this way, more people might become interested in the manga

I was literally in the middle of trying to decide if I should finally pick up the 12 volume set (someone has the whole set up on ebay for a great price atm) or wait out a deluxe hc release and it looks like my wait was worth it. I’m glad climber is getting an official English release. But I feel like dark horse would be better for the release, 2 in 1 makes sense for there is 17 volumes and not making a normal 3 in 1. But dark horse would probably do a better on the covers making it hard back and paper back.

17 omnibuses for hxh should be somewhere around 12 omnibuses right ?? I think there was a mistake from the omnibus collector imo.

They should do a Dragon Ball definitive edition. But, I want them to go back and make updates to the translation, modernize the lettering and over all make it better because going back to read the old volumes is rough. Since I doubt Viz will do that, I think I'll be disappointed even if they follow through with a nice edition.

I wonder why Jujutsu Kaisen doesn't get a box set announced. Does anybody have any information on that matter? I really want to buy the manga volumes, but I'm not sure whether I should just buy them or wait until they release a box set. Or are they perhaps waiting for the manga to end first?
