In this video we are going to take a deep dive into the VIZIO V-Series 5.1 Home Theater Soundbar with DTS Virtual: V51x-J6 System with Wireless Subwoofer. I will be Unboxing and show you what the system comes with, Also I"ll show you the ideal speaker placement for optimal sound enjoyment, then I'll do a sound test comparing my Samsung build in speaker to the Vizio 5.1 Sound system and then I"ll go over features of the system, including eq, levels and effects with the remote and I'll let you know if the system is worth buying. This little system is almost mind blowing. What Visio accomplished for the money is astounding. The small DSP subwoofer they provided goes deep. Not the nasty, boomy stuff we grew up with on our computers. Got 2 of these for different rooms.

I have owned mine for about 5 months & I am definitely impressed with the quality & sound. My settings on the soundbar is on movie mode,virtual X surround on for normal watching movies & cable TV. I use the dual surround for listening to music . . I don't know if you know this, vizio has a new firmware update, I called vizio tech support and they sent me thumb drive with the new firmware update on it . They also walked me through step by step to download the update .the atmos feature works great, but you need Dolby atmos content to receive it, Netflix has a lot of movies that are filmed in Dolby atmos . Hope you enjoy your new system like I do , ? How did you get it for so cheap, I paid $ 375.00 dollars from best buy . By the way, most Blu ray dvd movies are in Dolby atmos.

You got robbed I got it from amazon for $180, if I would of jumped on it could of gotten it for $120. Waited to long

@@Sweet111323 your correct, I really wasn't in the market for a soundbar @ the time. When I was in my local best buy looking for a 4k tv,the salesman showed me some soundbars & I was very impressed with the quality & sound. I didn't really do any research for soundbars & how much they sell them for. Wish I would of shopped around for a cheaper price !

You probably has the M series, this one is the V series

@danielcordero2282 you probably has the M series that one has Dolby atmos, this one is the V series is a Dolby digital system

I have the previous model..V 5.1, H-6 and it sounded great until it didn't! After about 4 weeks the subwoofer started "fluttering" or rumbling whether on talk show, news etc. Unplugged and restarted and it came back 3 days later..had to disconnect the subwoofer (which also disconnects the surround speakers) and could only listen to the main bar. I gave up and gave away the main bar with an explanation to the recipient. Threw out the sub and surround speakers! I have heard of similar problems with the ax J-6 but fewer..so hopefully you won't have the problem. Now, I have the M series 5.1 axJ6 with larger surrounds and does simulated Dolby Atmos much better and quality is a step up from the V series.
