Vladimir Putin tells Tucker Carlson US should stop arming Ukraine to end war

Rambling two-hour talk with Tucker Carlson, a Trump-supporting rightwing commentator, was Russian president's first with a western media outlet since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. 'If you really want to stop fighting, you need to stop supplying weapons. It will be over within a few weeks,' Putin said. He accused the US and the west of prolonging the war and singled out Boris Johnson, claiming that as British prime minister he dissuaded Zelenskiy from signing a peace deal in the early stages of the war.

Here in the comments, there are people from all over the world - from America, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Latvia, Greece, France, China, and many many others. We are all humans and we all want peace! Let's unite in the name of peace. We have families, loved ones, and friends whom we cherish. Let's prevent a potential global (nuclear) war and save our world together! The world's population is over 8 billion people, let's not leave politicians to decide the fate of our lives! I just want to remind you that back then in Year 2013 Putin said "we don't have any territorial requirements to Ukraine, and especially to Crimea" and year after they took Crimea. Did Ukraine attack Russia first? Absolutely not.

What is there to negotiate? Ukraine is Ukraine , Russia is Russia, Russia wants parts of Ukraine. Speciffically, the gas fields in Eastern Ukraine. His negotiation would be to keep what he has, and have a break so that he can replenish his army and take the gas fields later, with less losses. Putin is TWO aircraft away from loosing air superiority over ALL of Russia. He needs a year or two to re-plenish his long range AWAC/Surveilence aircraft. If he were to loose two more AWACs, ALL Russia would be vunerable.
