Is Jehovah Witnesses a CULT or part of Christianity?
What Jehovah's Witnesses believe:
1. Jesus is really the archangel Michael.
2. Jesus is not to be worshipped.
3. Jesus was not resurrected with a physical body but as a spirit being.
4. Jesus’s second coming has already occurred. It took place invisibly in 1914.
5. The Holy Spirit is not a person.
6. There is no Trinity. There is only God, Jehovah.
7. Salvation is by faith and especially by works.
8. Only 144,000 saved people will go to heaven. They will have spirit bodies, not physical bodies. Everyone else who belongs to Jehovah will stay in paradise on earth in a physical body.
9. Humans do not have an eternal, immortal soul. When you die you cease to exist unless and until God resurrects you.
10. There is no hell.

Be careful when you're a member of an organization that tells you how to thank how to act and how to feel. JW's are a cult I know I was in it for 25 years. Very political, not very spiritual, fake people everywhere half of which are medicated. But yet they boast what organization vindicates Jehovah's name? My question is where did you get Jehovah😅😅 was that his real name? But you say you have the truth but do you really? So many unanswered questions, so many changes, what you believed years before could be changed in an instant. No apologies no explanation watchtower owes you nothing. But yet you still continue to blindly follow it. I am so ashamed of myself. I am so ashamed of myself.

@@majesty10xu15 Remember the 1983 Watchtower article titled “Avoid Independent Thinking”? She just means that she was awakened from Watchtower deception in a short amount of time when she stopped allowing the WT to do her thinking for her.

Witnesses use the term "independent thinking" in condemning the same idea that the Bible does in various texts: (Pr 28:26) He that is trusting in his own heart is stupid, but he that is walking in wisdom is the one that will escape. (Jer 10:23) I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step. (1Co 1:18-20) For it is written: "I will make the wisdom of the wise [men] perish, and the intelligence of the intellectual men I will shove aside." Where is the wise man? Where the scribe? Where the debater of this system of things? Did not God make the wisdom of the world foolish? These Bible writers are warning us against *human* "wisdom" or thinking that is independent of God's input.

This cult stole a large part of my life from me. They covered for my stepmother who was beating me. She inflicted so much emotional damage and trauma. They are wicked. They are heretical. They cover for abuses within their church because involving authorities means involving "worldly". I needed so much deliverance and healing because of them. They stole my childhood. They'd stand over me as adult men and force me to lie to CPS when the school would call about my withdrawn behavior and bruises. They cover up rape and marital abuse. They teach absolute heresy. If you're reading this, please stay away from this wicked cult. If it wasn't for Jesus, I'd be dead because of them.

I was raised JW and even as a teen I knew something wasn't right. I believed in God but not the way they portrayed Him. Now I know it was God's Divine discernment that He had put inside me. Praise Jesus!

Actually, it's pronunced ' Yehovah' in Hebrew. Yahweh is the Samaritan God. See the Hebrew Bible Scholar...Nehemia Gordon, ( KZfaq ) and his work...opening up the earliest manuscripts and Hebrew Bibles both in the Israel's museum , Jerusalem and internationally. He's not found one Hebrew manuscript to support Yahweh .

Your father respects the position of Jesus, as a High Priest. His prayers go through Jesus, as the scriptures in the book of Hebrews states, concerning Jesus' priestly office. Your dad, clearly, understands, that Jesus is always alive to plead for us. Have you never read Hebrews chapter 7? Your dad might be interested to know that the new KJB now restores Almighty God's Divine Name, JEHOVAH, to 6973 places and, JAH, in 50 places, to the UNREVISED text of the Authorized King James Version of the Bible. Contains the Divine Name Concordance which lists 7023 occurrences of God's Divine Name. Of course, we are all aware that the kJB Bible has had a history of adding and removing scriptures, but I'm joyous, that Almighty God's name is being glorified. Jesus prayed:" Father glorify your name! " ( John 12: 28)

@@TeStOs78Don’t be ridiculous. If you accept Christ as your savior and as King then you are going through him to the Father. Every branch of Christianity accepts this. Even Jehovah’s Witnesses I personally believe all branches of Christianity are slightly flawed or changed in some way, but they will all be granted access to heaven depending on God’s judgment and how heavily they sinned. In fact you do not need to beholden to any church or sect, believing in Christ as your lord and savior is all you need. And that’s the biblical fact.

The WT declares that every rank and file Jw slave isn't in the New Covenant because they're not so called "spirit-anointed", so the covenant is only with those who have the Holy Spirit. They don't have the Holy Spirit as well and that's why they need to obey and completely trust the so called "spirit-anointed" leaders word for word & interpretation. They tell them that while Christ is the way to God, he still isn't their Mediator but only that for the so called "spirit-anointed", so these ppl are lost and don't know Jesus. How timely! My parents just reached out to me to invite me to their memorial celebration. I declined as I do every year, but this time I out right told them they are in a false religion, and that they have been deceived about who Jesus is. I then cited scripture showing Jesus is God. My mom replied with “ is that all you got? You can’t convince us that we don’t have the truth .” I replied with “ I just cited directly from the bible, so yes that is all I’ve got. IT IS WRITTEN.” I ask that everyone please pray for them and anyone else in that religion that they will come to know truth and for the scales to fall off their eyes.

I'm not sure what scripture you gave but God is light, and Jesus said I am the light of this world, but here are a couple John 20:28, Revelation 21:7 or even Matthew 28:18 here is one that goes deeper Matthew 5:48/Luke 13:32/Hebrews 5:8-9 and you can throw Hebrews 9:11 in if you wish God bless, Glorify the Name brought higher than all the heavens, Jesus. My mom was and still is someone who is and always has been so close to God. She’s 72. About 20 years ago she asked my sis and I if she could join them and we said yes because she never stopped us from moving from one church to another to find “our place” at a very young age. My dad just passed at the time too. So I went full into the Anglican Church, being an altar server. Got saved and baptised and the joined what I would call a “Christian” church. I still have a very close relationship with my pastor as I followed her. In those years she found comfort and friendship in the JW. I will never forget the day I saw the change in my mom. Probably a year or two in to JW. She was chanting around the house “the truth, oh the truth” and something seemed off. She remains a devout JW to this day and I support her where I can but do not want engage since I hold Romans 14 & 15 very close. I still honour my mom and love her so much

WHO IS OVER ALL? Ephesians 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. GOD and FATHER is OVER/ABOVE ALL and that "All" includes the SON so they are NOT EQUAL THE BIBLE teaches that Jesus was MADE As Lord and Christ and as Son (ACTS 2:36, Prov 8, HEB 1:5), CREATED/PRODUCED/INSTALLED (Prov 8) , COME INTO BEING/MADE (Mat 21:42 - egeneto) and GIVEN LIFE by the Father - John 5:26 and it uses TODAY (Heb 1:5), and uses future tenses and is a prophecy in Isa 9:6 (Isa 9:6, - WILL BE) . If you are called MADE AND CREATED AND GIVEN LIFE, and NEVER CALLED in the BIBLE as Creator or Maker , then you are A CREATION. ALL FROM THE BIBLE From the Lord was this (this is referring to the chief cornerstone who is Jesus) , the word WAS is egeneto (made or came into being) - Matthew 21:42 and the exact Greek word used in John 1:3 - MADE, egeneto (came into being) - JESUS WAS MADE/CAME INTO BEING FROM THE FATHER , yes, Jesus was MADE/CREATED!, See also Acts 2:36, Heb 1:5, 1 john 5 Isa 9:6 the word Prince in the Prince of Peace means PATRON ANGEL also Leader. WHO IS the ONE LEADER that we have? Jesus. Now, that same exact Hebrew word was used for Daniel 12:1 which is used for Michael the Archangel. So are you saying there are MANY LEADERS now?

Jesus is the Mediator for all Christians in the body of Christ, that is what "every believing "Christian" believe, because it is irrefutable in the scriptures & anyone who rejects Christ as their Mediator is in a lost condition. Nope, the mediatorship is for the kingdom covenant and they will be KINGS AND PRIESTS, Rev 5 and they will JUDGE the 12 tribes of Israel. Luke 22. Are ALL Judges? Nope. some BELIEVING Christians are part of the 12 Tribes of Israel to be judged as well, so evidently they are not part of those JUDGES. So you think babies are in a LOST CONDITION and rejected Christ because they have the inability to BELIEVE AND ACCEPT Christ yet

They are a cult. I was raised as one for many years. As a child growing up in that I couldn't understand how they could teach me that my dad would not be with God because he did not go to the Kingdom Hall. I went door to door with my mom. We had no Christmas, No Birthday Celebrations, No Easter. We went to Conventions. My mom was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness. I believe that led to her mental illness that began after that. I was in my 20's when I heard of Jesus and Salvation through Grace. With the Jehovah's Witnesses it more like you had to earn heaven by works. I can't remember everything they taught. I just know when I heard the truth. I was amazed and shocked that I had never heard this truth. Thank you Lord for saving my Soul and getting me out of that cult.

I used to have a roommate who told me horrible things that she suffered while she was a Jehova Witness and how she wasted so many years in how they manipulated her in so many ways. I'm so glad that you're now living in the Glory of God that is over your life. As there are many that are still stuck in that cult. I understand you. My childhood was also characterised by it. It felt like constant work for me there. Many Bible lessons, Meetings etc. I lacked the peace I now felt through Jesus. We learnd to look down on others who were not Jehovahs Witnesses. The contact broke when my mother questioned the Trinity aspect.

They keep making end predictions and they dont happen and they make excuses. They are controlling especially regarding our personal interpretation in scripture. The girls were asking me, "when are you going to get baptized? " I said, "not for a long time, because after you're baptized, any little thing you do wrong you get disfellowshipped for". They all got quiet, I felt like they agreed but couldnt come out and say it. I'm so glad I'm out of that.

Jesus never once addressed God as Jehovah when speaking to Him. He always addressed Him as Father. Jesus as "the way" to the Father taught us the best way to have a close relationship with Abba, Father which is first and foremost recognizing Him as our Father.

Jehova has helped my family SO much. My sister was doing drugs and had a very bad boyfriend and my family prayed for her to get better and safe. Now my sister is no longer doing drugs, got married with a guy who cares about her, and is doing SO much better❤ it’s no coincidence that this has happened. Jehova loves us and just wants to give us the life that we deserve. Think what you think, believe what you believe, but I know that I am in the right path.

I was a JW and have been out for just over a year. Please do some research. The religion has brainwashed you so you don’t use your critical thinking skills and abilities to discern what is facts. Religion appeals to emotions and uses them to form a dependency that overlooks the dangerous behaviour that goes on. There religion is spending millions of dollars covering up child abuse. Their doctrine is dangerous and goes against human rights.

My whole family are JW's. They refuse to speak to me because I walked away from the organization in 2010. It's a sad situation because we all live within 5 - 10 minutes of each other. 🤷‍♀ Edit: Thank you everyone for commenting! I left out a big portion of my story the first time I commented above. For the sake of brevity: I haven't really seen any of my family members for several years and that was only from running into them at the grocery store twice. About 10 days ago, my husband agreed to locate my 86 yr. old mother so that I could tell her that I love her before she dies. My much older sister takes care of her so he went to my sister's house to locate my mom. Husband and sister spoke for an hour. She asked him for my photo, address and phone number. My mom either wasn't present at my sister's home or she was in another room and didn't come out. She nor my mom have contacted me, not even for their "memorial" which is fine. I gave them an open door and they didn't reciprocate. My conscience is clear.

I am terribly sorry to hear this. Over a dozen years ago I must have spent easily close to 100 hours of research and tried, to no avail, bring a fellow colleague to Christ. Little did I know then that these people (your family) have a demonic oppression that has blocked their ability to reason and think independently. Truth, great wisdom doesn't work. This can only be won sister through warfare as you are fighting a strong spirits of religion. Find others with a similar situation, pray together, pray the blood of Christ over the thoughts and minds. Use every authority you have in Christ---,be persistent!! I really need to learn more about this… I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness but had a bad experience and a lot of guilt centered associated with it so I abandoned the religion and Christianity all together and took a more Pagan route/experimenting with other faiths but Jesus never left my heart and has called me back and I want to answer the call, but I want to serve God the right way, I want to understand. I have so many questions. First, I’ve been looking into Catholicism but I can’t really agree with their glorification of saints or the images that are almost worshipped, especially since Jesus taught us how to pray and never mentioned praying to/through a saint or even angel. It seems like idolatry to me. Do you agree with that? And secondly I was always taught that the holy spirit is God’s active force, not a feeling, separate thing. Why is that so?

I stayed away from them for almost 20 years and it was holding me back in life. My mother has been a JW member since the 80s and tried to pressure her beliefs upon me & my sisters. To be precise, it was affecting my mentality to the point I wanted nothing to do with the organization. Again my mother tried to pressure me in it as an adult and politely turned her down. Satan is under Jesus feet. Trample on the snake 🐍 and scorpions 🦂. Satan and the angels that rebelled against God, along with those that left their dwelling to mate with the daughters of man, went against God. To simplify it they want nothing with God so why wouldn’t it make sense for God to make a place for those who want nothing to do with him?? As for the head stomping it signifies the power God/Jesus has over satan. I’m sure someone else will come along and explain it in more detail, just kind of giving you the short version. @dorcaso1619 There are several scriptures that describe Hell. Mostly as God's burning wrath or the complete absence of God. I like the book of Isaiah cause it tells not only of God's mercy but of his wrath. And the ultimate wrath from God is to be without him which is Hell.

There is a difference between Hell/Sheol/Gehenna/Hades, the place for departed unsaved people and the headquarters of the Devil/Demon, and the Lake of Fire, the place God will eventually punish the Devil, the false prophet, the anti-Christ unbelievers etc. The bible says the place called Hell itself will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Revelation 20:14

And I do not agree with the doctrine; half of my family on my moms side follow full throttle blindly. And I respect their decision, but I’m going to follow Christ not an organization. Back in the 60s, as a very young hospital tech, I remember having to comfort a young nurse who was very distressed after watching a young child die because his JW parents refused a transfusion. Fortunately UK law was changed not long after, so that children who are unlucky enough to have parents in this foul cult are now made wards of court as soon as they arrive at hospital.

The JW experience is really crazy. I grew up in it but my dad got screwed over by other elders and pretty much stopped participating. He also had mental and physical health problems. 27 years ago i started questioning things and quit the cult, even got disfellowshipped, but my parents never shunned me. To this day my mom will talk about some kingdom hall and organization stuff to me and i just nod my head. I'd never ever try to talk her out of it, she's 79 and finds it satisfying. Last year the leadership said that people like me might still get saved at Armageddon and i hope that makes her feel better. When i looked at historical Christianity i realized a lot of what i was taught Christians believed were straw men. Though i still think JWs got a lot of things right about primitive Christianity, which had always been a work in progress. You did a pretty good job with this and it often surprises me that so many former JWs become born again. I tried it and it didn't work for me.

@@cygnustsp Thxs for your reply. Yes, the born again experience can feel tough to receive for us analytical people! But don't give up. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is received by faith, just like the faith needed for answers to prayer or receiving a miracle or like anything those people in Heb 11 received. Faith is basically just taking God at His Word and not wavering. Like when you believe a word from a trusted friend, you know they'll keep their word and can believe them. It takes effort and tenacity sometimes to stay the course and not be moved when everything in the physical looks contrary. 1 Pet 1:7. I had little knowledge about receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit when l first heard about it. But l saw Rom 8:9 (latter part) and l was determined to receive no matter what - my eternity was at stake here! Acts 2:38 too. And l wanted to hear/know God too. I did everything l knew (prayer etc) during the next few months and l received in almost a year. One day l was reading an article about the baptism in the Holy Spirit, going through the scriptures on it (faith comes by hearing too). I felt God's presence and that night l asked and received. Thank you LORD! I am certain believers are meant to receive at baptism, early on in the christian walk, but so often wrong/lack of teaching etc robs people. Some people receive with amazing experiences, some are not so obvious to any observers. Receiving the Holy Spirit isn't meant to be difficult, those in Acts chps 7,10 & 19 received very soon. Don't give in. Luke 11:13. On heaven - l see saints will be living on earth when Jesus returns. But l haven't found any mention of saints living in heaven when Jesus returns. They reign with Him on earth. New Jerusalem comes to earth in Rev too Jew - maybe messianic jew would fit better:). Or skip any names and just follow Jesus. Denominations often have so many additions to the scriptures:(

As a former Jehovah's Witness, I became disillusioned with the multitude of regulations imposed by the organization: no beards, no participation in social groups, restrictions on reading religious texts not authorized by the governing body or Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, abstaining from holiday celebrations, limitations on marrying outside the organization, mandatory comments aligned with the Watchtower's teachings, no room for free will in comments, strict dress code enforcement, obligatory preaching, unwavering loyalty to the elders and governing body, discouragement of pursuing higher education, scrutiny of private businesses, prohibition of blood transfusions, numerous failed end-of-the-world predictions, inconsistencies in teachings, hypocrisy, favoritism, and discrimination among members. These factors, among others, led me to depart from the organization and embrace my own traditional African religion, where I discovered peace, truth, freedom, and genuine solutions to my problems. Amen! But they actually have a heavily altered version of the Bible-their new world translation. So, I wish you could've suggested they read a reputable standard Bible like NKJV, ESV or NASB.

1984 new world translation is arguably the best translation that's primarily based on the masoretic text (LXX and dead sea scrolls are better manuscript traditions) It's probably fair to say the 2013 edition is a little poorer and I'd agree ESV is pretty solid but whatever the denominations shortcomings there bibles whilst not faultless are high tier. I own a layman's parallel bible and see much greater liberties taken with the living bible for example into skewed paraphrase territory

I'm a greek orthodox, but I left both ORTHODOX AND JWS. they are very bad false Christianities. Still though, Jesus is not God. His personality, resembles God. He is LIKE HIS FATHER, BUT NOT GOD. Jesus never said, " that he is God " He never took the head of his Father Jehovah Role. Plus it was ORTHODOX that removed the name Jehovah from the Bible. Which is why I left ORTHODOXY!

JWs are those from churches and other religions who found the TRUTH. Why would anyone want them to go back to those false religions? The only reason would be because JWs existence shows up the false beliefs of others. JWs already know what those false religions teach. They were once part of them. I’ve been studying on and off with Jehovah’s Witnesses and could never figure out why I keep stopping my Bible studies. I started in 2017 fell off and tried again just recently and fell off again. The first time I started I just didn’t get it. And I felt like God’s presence left from me. It’s been a lot and I keep wondering if they’re really a cult or part of the Illuminati as some would say. And yea they tell you you’re not really supposed to be praying to Jesus which is something I used to do. I appreciate you bringing to light some of the religion because it’s all is starting to make sense now.. I have so many of their Bibles.. and just asked for a large print🤦🏽‍♀️ but no wonders why I wasn’t getting it.

Your associating Charles Russel with Seventh Day Adventist is in error. Please correct. He may have taught the Advent as part of Baptist preacher William Millers belief, but he never was a member of the Seventh day Adventist denomination. SDA’S accept the Divinity of Christ and equality and eternity of the Trinity. None are created beings. Salvation is by grace and faith in Christ alone. Ephesians <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="129">2:9</a> Much more can be added but space is limited. Thank you for correcting this error.

I was a third generation witness and left when I realized they were false prophets claiming to be the only channel God uses. Vlad- they put so much emphasis on the name Jehovah. A name created in the 16th century, latinized form combing Adonai and Yahweh. Please do a video on this! It’s what keeps them thinking they are the only ones with “The Truth” because they use that true name. It wasn’t even invented until later, and it’s an invented name that holds no special powers, or divine protection. That subject doesn’t get enough credit and is something that holds them down and their ideology and brainwashing.

The name of Jehovah can be traced back to the Dead Sea Scrolls. And even though they didn’t use vowel points during that era, they used vowel letters. Then around 500-1000 C.E. the Masoretes, who came up with the vowel points, began to preserve the Hebrew biblical text. I believe we have 3 of those Masoretic texts in existence today; The Aleppo Codex, The Cairo Codex, and the Leningrad Codex; These Masoretic texts date back to about 1000 C.E. and they’re the base masuscripts by which most Old Testament Bibles are translated from. And because Hebrew went semi-dormant for a large window of time, it hasn’t had a chance to evolve like other languages. Also, when it became an official language in Israel in 1948, they adopted some of the vocabulary from the Masoretic Text. So the Hebrew spoken today in Israel is very similar to the Hebrew written in the Masoretic text. So, if you show someone in Israel (who knows Hebrew) 1 of the 6000+ places that the divine name appears in the Leningrad Codex or today’s Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, they will tell you how to pronounce that name. There is no mystery on how to pronounce the divine name, because; just like we know the english alphabet, they know the Hebrew alphabet. It’s pronounced YehOvah; The first letter is a yOd with a vowel point of a sheva under it, the second letter is a heh, the third letter is a vav with a vowel point of a quamets under it, and the fourth letter is a heh; YehOvah. Additionally, we look at the names in the Bible that have the divine name embedded in them as an abbreviated form and no one questions these names. JehOram - יְהוֹרָם - YehOram - meaning Jah is exalted - 2 Kings 1:17 JehOshaphat - יְהוֹשָׁפָט - YehOshapat - meaning Jah is judge - 2 Chronicles 17:1 JehOshabeath - יְהוֹשַׁבְעַת - YehOshabeat - meaning Jah is oath - 2 Chronicles 22:12 Jehoiada - יְהוֹיָדָע Yehoiadah - meaning Jah knows - 2 Chronicles 23:1 Joshua - יְהוֹשֻׁעַ - YehOshua - Jah is salvation - Joshua 1:1 Jonathan - יוֹנָתָן YehOnatan - Jah has given - 2 Samuel 13:3 So, this idea that Jehovah’s name was created in the 16th Century just isn’t true. You may not like my comment but being Catholic does not save you. I was Catholic. When did you repent from your sins and get baptised by water? When did you get baptised by the Holy Spirit? According to the Bible, in John 3:5, that unless one is born of the water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. I know you will tell me that you were baptised/christened as a baby. According to Acts 2: 38 and Acts 3:19, there must be repentance and conversion before baptism. At what point as a baby did you repent ? And if I remember correctly, most catholics do not read the actual Bible for themselves since they are taught that only the priests are able to read and understand it. So unless you have come out from this, you are in the same position as the JW's . Please repent then be baptised before Christ's return. He loves you and it is not His wish that anyone should perish

The Catholic church is no better than the JW. There are many false doctrines and beliefs being taught in the Catholic organization as well, and millions of people are being deceived. The main one is that priests CANNOT forgive sins. Only God can forgive and redeem our sins because He is our Lord and Savior. No Catholic priest was crucified, died on the cross and resurrected because of the sin nature of man. Nobody but Jesus, who was without sin. Also, there is no purgatory either. It doesn't exist! Our eternal destination when we die is either heaven or hell.

@@maverick7291 Every one, according to the Bible, must accept the gift of salvation for themselves. In John 1:12 we must receive Him before we can become children of God. A baby is not able to make that decision. Original sin is not washed away by 3 splashes of water on the head. When we go down into the water, it symbolises going in soiled in sin. Our being totally immersed means our sins are completely washed away. Our coming out of the water means that we have risen in Christ and we have left those sins behind. What message are we giving with those 3 splashes? What has happened to the sins then? Has that baby's sin been washed away? No. Just think about it. Go to Jesus yourself. Allow the Holy Spirit to advise you there. Don't take my word for it. Repent of your sins for yourself and get baptised. Receive your gift for yourself. I pray that you do. Then you will understand the freedom and peace that Jesus gives. I love ❤️ you. Receive Him today

@@GsWitness I see this response. As far as John 1:1 The Word has been changed to Jehovah. You know, the devil know scripture more than all of us. He's very cunning and in order for him to operate and oppress God's people, he needs to be aware of things. Similar to the way he tempted Jesus, and many others in the bible. So your comment portion that says that they quote scripture a lot, doesn't really hold weight. Im not sure how Acts 28:6 relates to John 1:1 They say that Paul was a god?

@@dorcaso1619 I don’t see in John 1:1 that the word was changed to Jehovah. Jehovah‘s Witnesses do think that the Word is Jesus. In their NWT, JWs translate John 1:1 with „the Word was a god“, which is what many people criticize, as most translations say „the word was God“. However, if you look into Interlinear translations showing the greek original text, the same wording is used in Acts 28:6 - every translation I know says that people thought Paul was „a god“, albeit if you wanted to translate consistently, you‘d have to translate it as „Paul is God“.

I just had my dad who is an elder reach out to me and let me know that those who have been disfellowshipped are now able to be talked to at the meetings if I decide to go back. My retired dad in his old age cried as he told me he hoped for this day for so long. Of course I would never go back. I told my dad Thank you for reaching out to me but I’m very happy at the church I currently go to and my faith in Jesus my Lord. The sad thing is that the people who left JWs for many years now this new policy won’t affect ( we don’t care for). We have survived being casted out and having feelings of rejection, suicide, orphan spirit, and unforgiveness to name just a few. The absolute sad thing that Watchtower has done now is that they have given false hope to JWs to believe that they can start reaching out to all Disfellowshipped people and think that we are going to be delighted to say “Wow! Of course! I been waiting for your invite back to the Kingdom Hall!” 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️……absolutely sick behavior from Watchtower….. I feel so terrible for JWs. I still pray for them to wake up from Watchtower hold.

This is not true.. JWs are allowed to greet and give a word of encouragement to people who might be trying to repair their relationship with the Almighty Father, that doesnt mean they are allowed to have long deep conversations and pat on the back then go for beers. The society acknowledge that maybe sometimes they may misinterpreted some biblical direction and lovingly re-adjust. The governing body never proclaimed that they get it right 100% of the time, but they do their best as imperfect men to further the good news of Jehovahs coming kingdom. The door is always opened to repeantant ones, of course the unrepentant ones will just moan and lie,..

I just attended their Commemoration of Jesus, with my son. I grew up a Jehova’s Witness left and hadn’t been back in more than 10 years. I went back to honor Jesus, as I am looking for a place to call my spiritual home. But I still have my doubts about them, just like how I had them at age 15. They're "memorial" is blasphemous. They deliberately refuse the communion, denying the divinity of Jesus and stating that only 144,000 are entitled to going to heaven. It's a dark ritual and more people are waking up to this. I figured it out many years ago and weirdly enough, started seeing others realizing the same thing more recently. I believe the Holy Spirit reveals these things to us when we're ready to see them. Bless you on your spiritual journey!

Former Jehovah witness here. I will tell you for free that there is no one church or religion on earth that is 100% correct. I walked away and joined a liberal trinity church. I would still walk back into a Kingdom hall anytime. It does not belong to earthing man to direct his own step!

It sounds like you walked from one bad experience to another. The answer is to read the Bible alone (Not the NWT) and immerse yourself into it and it will reveal itself to you. When you do this you will recognize if a church is in God’s will, or a counterfeit. Good translations include the New American Standard, King James and New King James.

God clearly doesn't have a birthdate or death date and Jesus did. No one has ever seen God and survived but more than 500 eyewitnesses seen Christ before and after his resurrection! Wake up and read the bible... Jehovah witnesses organization has imperfect humans who funded and established a forward thinking revolutionary congregation of serious evangelists. There's nothing wrong with that. Apparently these people were prophetically impatient or a little too over zealous and prematurely published untrue predictions. Many people throughout the course of time have predicted events and were embarrassed afterwards. Its totally unfair that jws are in 2024 are still taking the heat for a predictive mishap. Haha. As earnest bible students the early forefathers of Jehovah witnesses should of remembered that "no one know the hour except the father". But maybe they read certain verses more than others. Nonetheless what's next....??? This organization has a good reputation concerning methodically teaching the true concepts of the bible. I personally forgive those predictive publications from the early 1900s and won't let it negate the holy spirit inspired education in the kingdom halls. The holy bible is the boost to do his will and Jehovah witnesses have a proven track record of respectfulness, understanding and amazing evangelism. This disparaging KZfaq video trying to discredit jws is borderline disgraceful because it's spiritually scaring unbiased people away from honest truth. The holy bible is on Jehovah witnesses side and there philosophies try to emulate first century Christian beliefs. If Jesus doesn't know the hour how could he be God? If Jesus out of his own mouth admitted the lack of knowing everything its clearly shows he's beneath God Almighty the invisible heavenly father. Don't break the commandments but truly understand Jesus unique role as the exalted messiah under God hierarchy.

No, not the only 1. But they do Sunday worship. Although they claim the follow the scriptures they are still holding to Catholic laws. Emperor Constantine in the one who passed Sunday law Edict 321. There is nothing in the scriptures that justifies Sunday service. From beginning to Rev the scriptures enforce the Sabbath day, Saturday. Also in the 80s the Watchtower in Brooklyn predicted the end of the world. People sold houses and quit jobs. They had an event where they filled up Yankee stadium. It was supposed to be the end. But here we are in 2024. They went through a lot to cover that false prophecy, but it was covered in the news. Most importantly they litteraly altered the word of God that proves the divinity of Christ(not entirely since there are too many verses even in the old testament that prove it was Jehovah who was coming, but Jesus was the One who appeared). Claiming through a medium they received revelations to rewrite the scriptures. Because they have some truth, such as it is wrong to keep man made, even pagan traditions/customs rather than the commands of God. Xmas, Easter, Cross reverence etc. But they are not the procheised yltrue church that will appear in the last days.(Isaiah2:2-3/Micah4:1-2)& (Rev14:1)
