Its too bad New York had such a strong and positive culture at one point to even being the birthplace of hip-hop with enough stamina behind it at one point, to be dragged down to the level of crips and bloods, maybe people will wake up and realize what some of these cities actually had at one time and stop focusing on the bullshit that goes anywhere and everywhere else.

From what I remember from that documentary some dude from LA started the Crips in Little Rock, they even interviewed him. They didn't just create it on their own, though they never said what set the dude was from. Vlad doesn't do any research on shit

adam koestline I’m from the Rock and his name was Crip Moe, he had family over there on the West side of LR. He wasn’t the first though, he just started that particular set on 23 and Wolfe. Others like BDs, GDs, VLs, Bloods, and even other Crip sets like 69 ECC were here before that in the mid 80s. Vlad is a square and thinks movies caused people to just start claiming some shit like a dummy.
