Is it just me? Did you all hear about the violent events he witnessed as a young person growing up? I can't help but think those events had some affect on him and may have even been the cause of the 'accident' involving the limo driver.

I had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with Jayson when he was a young player for the 76ers. I was the Dir of Security of the hotel they stayed at during the season and then for the playoffs which gave people in my position more personal time with the players. He was an absolutely wonderful young man. At one point towards the end of the series, he and Andre Turner were in the bar throwing back a pitcher of Milwaukee's finest, when my then "buddy," Charlie Barkley came in from a night out and wanted to see which of his teammates were in the bar. After Barkley put me in a playful headlock and pulled me to the bar to get him a bottle of Miller Lite, Barkley bitched out his young teammates for being out late. Jayson actually quickly invited me up to his room to give me a souvenir. He gave me a very cool practice jersey. Very nice. Ironically, during my time with him he had told me the story about his sisters. Made me want to cry. Really made me respect him immediately and been a fan since. Felt bad during his trial and even worse for not contacting him while he was in prison. Feel worse for the family of the guy he accidentally killed.

Jayson Williams is a great brother who has been through some amazing traumatic experiences. On March 08, 2010 I was indicted for official misconduct and sentenced to five years in prison in Flemington , Superior Court . I was stripped of my pinstriped suit given an orange jumpsuit and slippers - no undershorts or socks. They took me across the street to Hunterdon County jail . There I met Jason and he saw that I was going through it. He said hello and gave me a pair of socks and a book entitled " The Purpose Driven Life " . I read that book twice and it helped me survive. Then Jayson was gone . I asked where he was taken. He was taken to Central Intake then to Mid-State Correctional Facility in Wrightstown , NJ . After 5 months I went to Central Intake and was assigned to Mid-State Corr. facility and re-united with Jayson. He was well known at the prison. But everybody gave him big respect , not because he was a professional ballplayer - that meant something but he was humble and truly remorseful for why he was in prison. We attended church , we talked in the Yard . I have been home now for 6 years and life is still a struggle . My family relations are strained , I can't get an executive job although I made over $ 130,000. a year . I also taught at the college level . I can see from this interview that Jayson is real , and he is still hurting. I know the feeling. Jayson , if by chance you see this call me - 201 551-0897 . I love you and you stay strong my brother - you paid your debt to society . Keep doing those great things down in Florida. If we don't meet here on Earth , we will see each other again in heaven- God loves you and me so I know we gone be alright. Your lifelong friend Mike Steele

It is refreshing to hear a person be 100% accountable. Very rare, particularly for a celebrity.

Mannn, he's so tormented. U can c the trauma, it's all around him. Life can be so damn tragic sometimes. That being said, hands down the best interview I've heard from Vlad.👏

Damn this was a truly sad life of Jayson Williams. His story brought me to tears , but also showed me his unbelievable strength in taking all of that pain and rebuilding his life and carrying on. I would love to shake his hand and look him in the eye and just say thank you for giving ME a purpose to put all of my negatives behind me and strive to be more positive in life. Vlad , this is the best interview so far!

50:22 son!!!! I was rolling for like 10 mins when he said this part. His nuts flapping after getting tased was hilarious to me. It came after such a serious moment and it caught me off guard. I haven’t laughed that hard in years.

Met him on a couple occasions, nice dude, big laugh is what I remember the most. I knew things about him, but his story is sad and riveting. I wish him peace and God willing to laugh big, like I saw him do back in the day.

Top interview I've seen Vlad do. J Williams SALUTE and Sorry for everything you have been through. Do you think if all of these tragic things didn't happen, would you be where you are today? I have found that when tragic things happen in my life I tend to work harder and focus more to succeed.

One of the greatest interviews that I have seen in a long timemr. Williams have come a long ways and it is really wonderful to see him working with other people but your interview with him was so great and I can sorta I is an OG Queen even that is abusive physically I could rush in and try to help him but abusive on until God humbles him I will not come to his aid I'm very fortunate God has put me in Guadalajara where's peaceful also wasn't us merchant Marine your interview was right on I want to thank and good luck to mr. Williams

Man... I really feel touch by this man being brutally honest when he broke his voice telling his feelings in minute 51:00. You feel his pain, and the admission of his mistake and how badly he'd like to go back in time and stop that from happening... and learn. Maybe that's why I would never gonna have a gun, I just no envision myself killing someone even by accident and live with that kind of pain for the rest of my life. I have so much respect for him for being humble enough to speech over it even though his pain, man... God bless him and help him to health and forgive himself for that mistake
