Adrien Broner spoke about his 2018 match with Jessie Vargas and how it almost didn't happen. For those that remember, Broner's entrance music for that was 6ix9ine's "Gummo." Broner planned on having 6ix9ine walk him to the ring while performing the song. Broner said he had a phone conversation with 6ix9ine prior to the fight and the plan was for them to start a beef. However, the ring walk never happened due to a shooting that occurred during an altercation between 6ix9ine and Casanova's crews. Adrien Broner believes that if everything went according to plan, his ring walk with 6ix9ine would have been the biggest ever.

I was at that fight that whole night was crazy. People was getting beat up all over the arena and then that shooting happened then half the police ran to the other side of the arena. Rick Ross was there and I think some one in his crew got into it then he got up out there lol.Then when we left it looked like a military zone with police with army gear on everywhere . Lol that was a night to remember.
