Flashback to this important interview from 2015 when Daz Dillinger came by and chopped it up with DJ Vlad. The legendary rapper and producer has been crafting Hip-Hop classics since the genre's Golden Era. This section of his exclusive VladTV interview covers a range of topics, including what it was like to work with 2Pac, what he believes made Dr. Dre leave Death Row, and how a rumored hookup between Death Row artists may have led to the label's demise.
Upon 'Pac's release from prison, Daz already had five tracks awaiting the iconic MC with supplementary hooks. The Long Beach rapper then revealed that the first track that Tupac jumped on would eventually become "Ambitions Az A Ridah," which was inspired by Snoop's "Stranded on Death Row."
As the exchange illuminated Daz's great insight into the Death Row imprint, Dr. Dre soon became the topic of the discussion, with Daz offering his perspective as to why the good doctor ultimately left the label. Tha Dogg Pound member said, "My thing was why Dr. Dre left, you probably ought to ask Michel'le. She's probably the big cause of it." He then waved away the comment while saying he's not trying to start any trouble.
Watch the full clip to hear Daz Dillinger explain his thoughts on alleged romances that Michel'le may have had with Death Row members and more.

@@Mustbedacheese Low key this some “Your Idol becomes arrival” type shit. Dr Dre taught Daz how to mix and to use the piano and drum machine. Then Daz started mixing and producing on Doggystyle and over time became the head producer at death row all while Dr Dre was getting ready to leave. I heard a story that could be fake idk but it goes like this. Dre, 2pac and Suge was in Studio and Dre played “Got my Mind Made Up” and told Pac he did the beat later Pac found out Daz did the beat that and Dr Dre not doing much on his album is what started the whole Pac/Dr Dre mini beef

I don't think Daz fully yet realises how fucking excellent his Dogg food album is ....was....is...whatever you call it. The beats....the melodies....the bass....the lyrics....him and kurrupelt went HARD on the all the duets. Both of em lapped each other with so much precision.....it reminds me of the outlawz when they had kastro and edi/napoleon/Kadafi/Noble doing their verses together .....I'm saying bro it's 2024 now but Dogg food album, daz and kurrupt's solo album gets pumped in my car pretty much every week.....bass up on a now a modest after market pioneer stereo with the 15" sub woofer in the boot. Daz u need to make another dogg food album. Get with that old 90s vibe. U a producer and a master with the piano and guitar beats. Don't try to play me homie? Man that guitar beat had friends who ain't never heard of u get into your shit. Respect Daz and Kurrupt. R.i.p Pac', Nate, and Jewell . Somebody make Death Row great again. Somebody need to free Suge too. Let's not forget about sweaty head cus that dude was the Lord of Hip Hop when it came to running the music industry. So what you're trying to say? If Pac didnt go to the hospital after the shooting in Vegas he would have died within minutes after he got shot. Even his bodyguard said if the ambulance werent at the scene as quick as they were Pac would have died right there.

Man what I liked about pac was that he was a rapper that like prophesied his death and like cause of the things that he was going through and had so many good albums songs I mean not all his songs I like but his music was real and he did good movies like above the rim and juice
