Jermaine Dupri spoke to VladTV about Eminem and Dr. Dre dissing him on "Say What You Say." Jermaine said that it started over him boasting that he was the most talented producer between Dr. Dre and Timbaland, adding that he still thinks he could pen a song on his own in a room with two producers.
Jermaine added that he's glad Eminem dissed him about working with younger artists back then because it shows he was ahead of the curve now. To hear more, including how Bryson Tiller and Russ used his lyrics in their songs, hit the above clip.

Face em and dre only beef with people they ain't going to have to see , benzino, Dupri all them pop stars em dissed are people they aren't going to have to worry about if they see them in the street unlike deathrow, but I'll give 50 credit he had the heart to go toe to toe with Murder Inc and em only jumped in that beef because he knew that 50 was the one that was going to ride if it got ugly he knew he would've never dissed if he didn't have 50 out on the line.

If people stop and be honest and realize what JD was really saying, they would see he's got a valid point. He takes a song from nothing to finished by himself. He creates the beat from scratch and writes the lyrics very few are doing that now and he's been doing it consistently for over 20 years. Dre is dope without a doubt but he's gotten credit for a lot of things people under him did. Plus one of people main complaints about Dre, Pac being one of them is that he takes to long. Now, he is cocky but so is Dre.

No doubt, and I’m sure and that magazine or radio interview where he mentions Timbo & Dre , He was probably insinuating that he feels like he should be on the same or in the same conversation and level as those dudes because of how long he had been in the game at that .20 years ago and how much he does behind the scenes that no one knows about or will ever know about
