Part 1: • John Salley on LeBron ...
Part 3: • John Salley: I Know St...
--------
In this clip, John Salley is explains why he is proud of the way LeBron James chimed in on the recent controversy surrounding Kyrie Irving and Jerry Jones. From there, John Salley and DJ Vlad discussed the impact of the Emmett Till tragedy on the fight for civil rights. To that point, John explained why he thinks George Floyd was the second coming of Emmett Till because his murder at the hands of Minneapolis police acted as a wake-up call to the country in a similar way to Till.
Later, John weighed in on Stephen A. Smith taking up for Jerry Jones in the midst of the 1957 photo controversy.

Really love these Stalley interviews fr, always provides a different perspective on a subject (whether one may agree with him or not). FYI the number of migrant workers that died is estimated to be more than 6500 and not *500 ; also it was the captain of the team and not head of the USMNT who answered to the Iranian journalist. Not tryna be an asshole or anything, just didn't feel right hearing that knowing the actual details of those subjects.

That's so true John Salley, self determination and self discipline are so important, and God will be your strength and power. Even though, giving back and tithing with community organizations (not just churches) has it's place, is in Gods plan, and many black celebrities do just that. Such a wonderful point. The point about propaganda is also key. Moreover, much of our so-called Black culture is a form of weaponized propaganda, as it's not our true culture, it's only a part... Dumbed-down, Godless, money-whoring, party culture, without a sense of self awareness, isn't a accurate portrayal of black culture, it's weaponized propaganda, intended as traps.

He only speaks when it is safe. Thats why people with their own brain dont really feel lebron it was a nice gesture but you have to actually know what blacks as people are working for and Him not understanding his place is frustrating. Ali did he understand losing money will help millions but sometimes making millions ruins millions of people. We arent as far from slavery as it feels. The poor can only be so connected when the ones we push up to make it never reach back to really effect and help society. Salute Ye and Kyrie. As people their shouldnt be billionaire blacks and theirs a whole country of blacks not affording life needs when theirs 3 men right now who can buy america basically and change this whole society but the blacks tht filter to the top dont take on the needs of the blacks at the bottom. Other races its not like that their more scared to get cancelled than go poor for their people and thats the irony you actually make 3 million peoples lives easier you wont have to work those people will forever tend to you and make sure they wont go without but if its only Ye and Kyrie willing to sacrifice their pockets for people we have no chance.

@@_VISION. God is not just somebody if it wasn't for him you would not have woken up. But you continue to worship false gods that don't care about you. When you need a heart transplant you call lebron James and see what he does. They don't care about you none of them any color. I would never ever worship any celebrity any color.

This is my issue with the black community in America. So many people think black celebrities are here to save them. It's like a collective daddy issue. White people don't expect white celebrities to save them. They listen and read about scientists, intellectuals ans great activists.

Yes I hate when people try to speak on history and they don't know what they're talking about. Vlad talking like the northern states were some safe haven. Places like Ohio had sundown towns

Ask LeBron to say at least two quotes from Autobiography of Malcolm X and don’t hold your breath waiting for his response.
