I love crazy vlogs. It normalizes how classrooms can get loud and chaotic and learning is still happening. I swear the school year is like Benjamin Button. You teach them routines and expectations and there's this brief moment in the middle of the year that is glorious and easy and then all the expectations need to be retaught consistently at the end of the year just to survive! You got this!

Oh my gosh watching you teach them about the clock and hearing them catch on made me tear up! Being a teacher is so special, rn ima 2/3 yr old teacher, next school year will be my first year teaching VPK (pre-K) and I’m so excited, and when i get my degree I would love to teach kinder or first grade! I just found your channel and I’m feeling so inspired so thank you for sharing !

What about Clinique Happy? It's an oldie, but a goodie! Dolce & Gabbana light blue is a bright, uplifting scent as well. I am very much a person who remembers events based on scents. Chanel #5 takes me back to when I was 5 and living in Hawaii. My dad was stationed there and that was the scent my mom wore at that time.

In our curriculum, we literally turn the clock into a number line. Never thought of it that way, but it is a number line!

I was going to leave the same comment. They are just so much more destructive, LOL! Just this last month they have broke two sets of my headphones which this is my third class and absolutely no problems until this year. It is so weird. I will say I agree with you in this vlog though it might be partly my fault with letting procedures getting lax. We are almost there teacher friends, we can make it!

Wonder if it's effects of pandemic and less preschool activity time/social play to help develop those school readiness skills. Just a theory of mine. Not sure if it's reason or coincidence. Interesting though.

@@maisieliberty1319 I have wondered that as well. I do feel these littles are needing much more interaction like that to help develop those social and emotional skills. I will be better about it in my own classroom next year.
