Back to the fresh vegetables, I wondered if you had ever heard of Tupperware? If you are not familiar with the brand they sell wonderful storage containers for vegetables among other cookware. See if you can locate Tupperware as I think you will find it to be a great source of freshness for your grocery items. It is sold in the USA though. Wishing you the very best.
