Dad's love makes a big difference

I am a hospital mom with medical training, a teaching career under my belt and a theatre geek. You are doing great! That comfort food is so nice! We were in a coma for a month and are living large as long as possible. Today, in fact, I spring cleaned the dryer, water heater and learned some plumbing and electrical!

Hey Isabella. Been there done that almost 20 years ago now. It can get a bit hairy at times. I think you have this,courage in the face of adversity. I’m living proof there are Cancer thrivers, actually many of us. You will join us too! Faith.😁🙏🏻You are in the thoughts of many rooting for you! P.S. I seriously hate needles too. 9 yrs after Cancer I found out I have a rare immune deficiency disease and have to put needles in myself weekly to receive gammaglobulins to be healthier. So I hate needles even more now! We never know what life has in store for us ,stay strong, kick Cancers Butt, of course on the Good days on the other days you are tired,sleep. All the best wishes.

Hi Isabella. You are a ray of light. I was diagnosed in October too. I am on my 14 th day of radiation for a double mastectomy that I had on Dec 18. Cancer is a challenge. You are doing an amazing job. Watching you maneuver the stand and wires and port and get up and walking … just great. I know it’s a roller coaster. So many are right here in your corner. Does that lower port access help with not having to redo the access positioning? Looks like it might hurt when sitting/moving etc. Looks like you’ve got an amazing team - both medically and personally. Thank you for your bravery and vulnerability. And thank you to everyone who is masking and testing and being careful all over this country right now because we want to protect everyone including all the people who are fighting for their lives. Are compromised. Are immuno compromised. Are elderly or are just plain HUMAN BEINGS deserving of the care and respect of other human beings. This young woman is amazing. And she’s doing this to help other people. Such a wise young person helping OTHER people. Let’s all protect each other. ☮️

You are so brave!! I was diagnosed with leukemia in 2020 and had a bone marrow transplant in 2021. I still have my port and seeing the tube under my skin still freaks me out!! :-) Watching you walk the halls with your IV pole in tow brings back so many memories. Stay strong!! And keep walking! My team always said that was the best thing to do.
