tbh Hayley good to see you back, on the subject of hard to pull curtains be grateful that your not on a curtainsider fridge trailers the older ones have double thickness curtains and are a pain in the ass to open and close, as for the newer trailers a application of spray grease on the runners does the trick every time, BUT a cautionary tale for you Hayley be very careful on a windy day because if the wind gets hold of the curtain ,when the curtain pole smacks you across the nose it may only be a alu pole but trust me the stars you see and the expletives you say are not :) :) ,i used to on windy days park the trailer as close to the building as physically possible to prevent curtain smack,once smacked forever remembered :) :), happy xmas and look forwards to more in 2022

Hello Hayley, this is my first comment on your channel as I only discovered you just before Christmas and it has taken me this long to binge watch all of your episodes to date. Wow! What a journey you have been on! I empathised with your first episode where you explained that teaching wasn't for you, as I had the same experience (albeit in 1983!) but I, as you, moved onto an alternative career path and never looked back! To give you some hope in these times of tumult, I will just add that I retired in August 2021 having completed 60 years on this planet and have no regrets with any decisions that I took along life's highway! All power to you so far, and I think you have many twists and turns left in your career yet too! Just make sure you publish them, warts and all! Good luck for the future... PS When I watched Episode 1 you had 11.9K subscribers and now you have over 12k, so you must be doing something that the KZfaq algorithm likes 🤣 And you also have at least 83 more thumbs up to your tally.

Backloads are handy but always check with the office some customers take a chance

I’m glad you’re happy with your new job…., I did class 2 grab work on sites and didn’t like getting covered in crap much either, it’s each to their own & if you can find something you like more then good on you…, I do steel on class 1 flatbed now which I like unless it’s in horrible tight yards (which it often is!) if there was a company near me like yours I’d jump straight in!.,., also I know it’s a personal thing but I’d always rescue my wife from anywhere dirty boots or not, as long as she’s safe!, happy Xmas & new year, great vid as always 👍

New day at school 🙂, company sounds great to work for/with, certainly a different load, from one of the heaviest...steel coils, to potentially the lightest. Great story on contacting On-board Corrugated 😀. It's always an asset in working different roles or different companies, I left a company where I started my apprenticeship ( Machine Tool Fitter) after ten years, they were downsizing, and if I stayed my skills would be under utilised. Spent about 7 years through agencies, then as a sub contractor; best thing I ever did, learnt so much more, and progressed more than technically. Brilliant vlog, thanks for sharing. Good to see you back driving again, If you have to work it is best to have a job you enjoy doing, so no problem looking for a job you will enjoy doing.
