Most people are too afraid to go outside the box and just want that black and white HomeGoods look that 500 other billion people have because it’s “safe”. Meaning no one will give it a second glance. This rug DEMANDS attention and is like “WHO DIS??” I love it. It might be the pattern you’re not in love with since you associate it with bandanas but I think the color is hott (pun intended). Don’t expect the vast majority of people to get it since the vast majority of people are afraid to say they like something that isn’t common and prefer more boring looks. I love it. 💕

I think the color works it’s probably the print. If you had a rug with pink and black stripes or something that complimented your theme in the room you might possibly like it better.

I get your indecisiveness on the rug. I actually love the rug but I can't tell if it fits your design aesthetic. Sometimes black and bold colors like pink and red can come off bachelorish or cheap. Your eye for this is 👌🏾 though so I think you might do some more tweaking...even if you decide to keep the rug or some pink. I love bold colors though.

Remove all the pink and put down a black rug and instead of pink pillows get gold, like the hint of gold in the black and white wall photos.
