I usually watch these on my tv so I don’t comment but I had to get on the app. Bc this body talk was so relatable and I was watching with our daughter (as usual) and she struggles with some of the things you mentioned and it was so helpful to hear that someone we watch and virtually care about is experiencing some of the things we do. I also received a similar group of diagnoses at 25 and it is a struggle but also I feel makes you more self aware. Thank you for sharing your story with us ❤

I feel you on the body stuff. I gained 80 pounds (and I’m only 5’ tall) in a year from anti-depressants when I was 25, which *spoiler alert* only made me more depressed. I tried a ton of different meds and actually none of them helped me and I ended up doing ECT. I turned 30 this year and am JUST starting to lose some of the weight. I’ve lost about 35 pounds this year but I’ve been plateaued for a few months now which is frustrating because I do fitness classes 5-6 days a week and eat consciously. I’ve been working really hard to be kind to myself and not be overly critical of my body, so thanks for being vulnerable and relatable ❤

Thank you so much for talking about this! When I lost quite a bit of weight my health was actually at its worst and had so many people (not friends) say oh you look so amazing how has no one snatched you up and married you yet as if I didn’t have that option before. I just wish people wouldn’t put such an emphasis on size and the comments although most times not meant in a rude way it can really hurt someone’s feelings and only getting positive comments when your small can definitely mess with the mind.

Thank you for the body talk. Truly. I have myriad mental health diagnoses and I’m dealing with losing weight from having gained forty lbs on a super petite five three frame. I’m 44 and so it’s becoming extra difficult to lose after having gained. Bc of the psych meds over the years and always having to change them up once they stop working as well. It’s so tough to accept how I look. Oh wow you’re my size. It is SOOO hard, as you said, after having ppl speak of your small size and then not be that size anymore. I’m so jealous you got to meet Kelsea. She’s so incredible in every way!!! I have a video of her on my ig of her being only one row away from me as she came into the crowd at a small theatre venue in Chicago. And I can’t believe wnw did a Marilyn collab!!! I would die to have that collection. As if I need more makeup lol I need to sell and donate a lot I’m just excited to see this vlog as I’m up, unable to sleep. - Hoosier Nashville Amy ;)

I appreciate you so much talking about body image and how it can be a struggle. I have two daughters under two years old and I try to be so careful in the language I use about their bodies, my body, and other bodies. I hope they always appreciate what their bodies allow them to do! Our bodies are magic and we don’t always value that like we should. ❤

I’m a dancer and we’ve also been doing the middle part slick back for years! My mom always would tell me that it looked so much better on me than the high pony that was the trend and that I should wear my hair like that for school and I was like ew no mom but she was right all along

Please please please reconsider lexapro! Work on your thyroid and health! My experience with lexapro was absolute hell! It’s not your age! - because that’s what I thought to! It’s the lexapro!

Everyone’s experience on SSRI’s is completely different 🫶🏼 I would encourage you to keep these types of comments to yourself without knowing a person
