my mom had a similar challenge when she first had us kids, my dad was in the navy & he was always gone. lean on friends & wives going through something similar & make a support group without dillon, and maybe when your mom can’t come out & help, get a part time nanny to help take the load off a little, don’t feel ashamed of needing physical & emotional help. it’s gonna be a huge change & you’re so valid for being an emotional mess. you’re gonna make it through girl ❤

I can completely relate (active duty military wife here). Please know that little boy in your belly will become your best friend in this entire world and all that sadness will fade! This is just a season in your life, trust in god that it will all be worth it in the end ❤

So glad you didn’t edit out the vent sesh in the car. Like you said, social media can be fake, but the fact that you’re willing to bare all and be vulnerable shows your kind heart & strength. I’m always alone too and have been single for a long time and it worries me that I’ll never find my person. With that being said, no matter what you go through, you’re not alone. Someone somewhere is also having a random melt down lol! It’s good for the soul. Sending prayers, love and a big hug. 🫶🏾🤎

Thank you for being vulnerable and real during this time. You are so strong and are doing an amazing job during your first pregnancy. My fiance and I are in a similar situation with me being in PA school and him working. Time spent away is so hard some days. Keep reminding yourself you are doing the best you can ❤❤❤

Thank you for your vent session. My fiancé works in sports and is in March madness rn and it’s so hard being alone 90% of the time. This is something the fans never see that takes a big toll on us. Thanks for making me feel validated.

Literally watching this on right now. Just know... people understand how you feel when you talk about sadness. Thank you for being vulnerable and feeling safe enough to share that. And also know that when you laugh, it's contagious and brings joy to so many! Congratulations on your journey! I, personally, cannot wait to follow along!

As a military spouse and mom, I completely relate to the sadness seeing other people with their families especially on weekends and holidays ❤️ you’re not alone in those feelings and they’re very valid! After having my baby, it was scary at first to have my husband away but now it’s like I have a little bestie when he’s gone 🥰 Making mom friends has also helped make things easier when he’s away! Sending love, you got this! ☺️

Right there with you! You’re not alone. I work weekends, holidays and nightshift and we’re expecting our first baby. It sucks to not see your spouse as much as you’d like and to make sacrifices like that. Thinking about you! 🤍 Better days are ahead!

Oh Rachel, I’m so sorry you are having a hard time. I hope you find a little comfort in knowing you aren’t alone. My dad really struggles with my mom being away so much for her job. (She’s the manager of all the huge airport air traffic controllers) so she’s away a lot. But I know you know we are all here for you and you aren’t alone.❤️❤️❤️

Aw Rachel I really feel your pain. A LOT. I wish I found your channel 5 years ago, my boyfriend was a college wrestling coach at the time and was working constantly- and we had a newborn. It put a huge strain on our relationship, because I felt like no one understood how hard it was including him. But there are others living the same struggle, just need to get through it. I wish we would have stuck it out ❤️ you can do it!!!!

I get it! You need your hubby around and you are pregnant and it can be hard. You are not being silly… you love your man and yes you make sacrifices and support him but it doesn’t mean it’s always easy. I love vlogs like this because they are honest and authentic and relatable. You are so sweet and even though is through a screen we are always here to support you. ❤

Im sorry you’re upset 😢 I know being a coach is his thing and he loves it, but also having a work life balance is important and will only become more important as time goes on. At the end of the day time goes by and we don’t want to look back and realized we spend 90% of our life at work.

Not preggers but have had sciatica for a few years now! The best stretch that helps me is sitting down with your left ankle on your right knee and bend forward to stretch out the lower back/hip!! Consistently do that throughout the day for at least 30 seconds to a minute! I also do this stretch standing and move my right leg to a sitting position- gives more stretch to the sciatica! I also heard rolling out the lower part of the left side of your back with a tennis ball is super helpful for people!

I am pregnant right now too and I have noticed such a change in my dependence or increased need/pull to wanting my husband to do the little things or random things with me where pre-pregnancy it wouldn’t bother me at all, I’m an independent person and enjoy doing things on my own. Idk what it is about the change in hormones but I completely understand that feeling you are going through!

Your vent sesh was so real!! I can’t say I feel the same as I’m not anticipating a baby, but I understand how it feels entering a new stage of life and not being able to be near your significant other. the highlight reels make it soo soo much worse. I spend a lot of time away from my boyfriend now that i’m going to grad school. I often think about how strong u and dylan we’re doing long distance in college when I get down about it. when you feel down thinking about how much time you’re spending away from him, try to think about how far you have come since then and that this time will also pass. one day you, dylan, and your baby will get the time you deserve!❤

The baby brezza sterilizer and dryer is the best!!! The dryer part is a huge win. Once the machine is done drying, you can put the bottles away immediately. Which is sooooooo much better than looking at bottles drying on your counter because it takes forever for them to dry. 😫 I can’t stand clutter so it’s perfect for people who have OCD.

I am the same way when it comes to labor. I am a person who plans in advance, and labor is one of those things that can't be planned for entirely; and cant really know what will happen until it does. I am certain that I will ease into the role of being a Momma with no issue, and aren't really anxious about that aspect of this journey; but when it comes to labor my anxiety it through the roof!! I just tell myself that the doctors and nurses know what they are doing and that I will bein good hands. WIsh you the best of luck in your pregnancy and hope labor is stress free for you.

As a wife and mother of 6, I understand your pain of missing your husband especially on the holidays. It gets pretty frustrating and lonely. Hopefully he can get a maternity leave when the baby arrives. I will pray for you. Your not alone. I also has a pinch sciatic nerve. Its funny but they say to massage the other but cheek and irs suppose to work. But i also went to physical therapy. Hope this helps. Love you Rach. Xoxo

I know you posted this so long ago but i totally feel you on the feeling alone thing. My husband works off on the road. Sometimes i don't see him for like 4 months at a time. At the least it's 8 months usually. For all of our moves we've made I've done most of it if not all of it on my own. Important life stuff like oil changes, car registration, etc. I have to do all that myself. It can be really hard emotionally and i can only imagine it's worse when you have pregnancy hormones. I'm sorry you're feeling this way, I know how it feels and it's not fun. I'm so glad you have support and friends to help you with feeling lonely. It's hard to make new friends when you move a lot. We have moved every year since we've been married. 7 years lol and we're about to move again in two weeks 🙀 It can be a crazy life and if you feel like you need help get some. Sometimes you need it even for every day life. Also your smoothie looks delicious.

Absolutely obsessed with your content. So sweet of you to share your true self on here. On the sciatica pain, I’ve had that for a full year and discovered that it can actually be caused by arched feet/ problems with feet. I remember you saying you had pain there so potentially it could be the true cause. Suggest to wear your hokas as much as possible and get custom arch support insoles for your shoes. Also try and get deep tissue massages weekly. Hope that helps. ❤

Hi Rach, I HIGHLY recommend hypnobirthing & positive birth affirmations surrounding the birthing space, if you’re wanting ways to help ease that pre labour anxiety ❤️ Taking alittle bit of time throughout the day, will help mentally prepare yourself to bring your boy earthside, which makes all the difference! 💫
