You asked for it! An actual vlog -- this is a realistic vlog of an average day for me as I balance my interior design business, my tech job as a frontend developer and UX designer, and making videos for youtube. I'm gonna bring you along with me as I do a design pitch for a client's bedroom, do a mini road trip for some antique thrifted furniture from facebook marketplace, film and edit youtube videos, and still try to live a balanced life.
I'm also finally explaining the confusing reason for my multiple names.😬
I have already had several careers in my life, and for me the key these days is BALANCE. I enjoy switching up my work and my day to day, because each separate pursuit brings such different fulfillment.
I'm also planning on doing a Q & A video down the line, so leave any questions in the comments! Can be personal, professional, design, tech, family, dating, decorating, antiques, mental health, youtube, all of it.

This was the KZfaq channel I didn't know that I was missing. And the name change totally makes sense. FYI: Great initiative at work, but don't be surprised when they expect you to get work done over the weekend now. I find that coders struggle with work/life balance. Don't lose that balance!

As a super extreme introvert of a homebody with anxiety who also really values one on one conversations with a close gal pal, watching your videos feels like I'm just hanging out and doing random things with one of my close friends that just comes over to hang out in our lounge clothes which for me, is what some would call pajamas. I've only just happened upon your channel. My normal picks are videos on minimalism and intentional living but I love interior design as well and know exactly what I like and dislike so....good fit. The way that you approach a task, like going somewhere far to pick up big bed pieces and drive them back tied to your car. I would totally be overwhelmed and scared to do this alone. I absolutely love watching these day in my life vlogs. I dont normally watch vlogs, because soooo many youtubers seem to go overboard with their on camera persona, but you seem so genuine, very down to earth, and I am there with you girl on your outlook about work!!! The amount if editing work that goes into these videos is unreal. All the little zoom-ins, zoom-outs, cuts, etc do a lot to keep the viewer engaged and putting all that stuff in takes a ton of time. Cudos to you for going for it and building something out of nothing.

I didn't find your channel till you were in DC so I only know you as Caroline. Unlike Alfredo I don't mind when you go fuzzy or dark. Makes it seem more like a real person. There are too many people on social media faking their looks and lives so it is refreshing to see someone that isn't perfect all the time.

love the vlogging! i would be interested to learn a bit more about your career path since you said you've had many throughout your life. I often think about how it would be better suited for me to have multiple part time jobs because I also like the idea of focusing on different passions. Did you find it hard to transition to that lifestyle? Did you worry about putting pressure on your hobby/passion to pay the bills, or about things like financial security, health insurance, etc.?

I have a friend who found out she was allergic to mango when she lived in Hawaii. There were mangoes growing on the property where she and her husband lived, so she would sit outside binging on them, with the juice getting all over her face and hands. And you know what happened, Caroline Angelica....red, raw skin everywhere that mango juice had touched. She still eats them, but does so much more carefully.

I’m also allergic - ish. I watched a video of someone who’s allergic only to the mango skin, but not the flesh, so they put on gloves to cut it!

Caroline Angelica - whoever you are - I found your videos at literally the perfect time in my life. I think it was like a month ago I stumbled across your apartment tour and was like oh shit this girl is funny AF yo. So I gave your channel the red subscribe and then today I reran into your videos and now I have watched every single one and I’m approaching watching them 2x! Your energy and personality are just like mine I really think we’re supposed to be best friends idk who knows but what you have done for me INSPIRE me to do whatever TF I want to do which is start a KZfaq channel or an instagram just because I can! I’ve been following KZfaqrs since I was 13 (I’m now 25) and have never found a person who I really was inspired enough by to start my own channel. I click with your videos and your soul in so many ways and our humor is identical. I’m gonna be a badass bitch like you and start a channel to share my funny stories and the experience of moving my room around 2x a month and all the mania in between. You aren't a floozy! You are an amazing young woman. I'm 55 years old and appreciate you!! I just found out my "mentee" is progressing in her career and I'm so happy for her! I don't have children so I'm happy to have bright, ambitious young ppl in my life.
