[about me]
Hi my name is Rosie, I'm 26 and my life is a bit confusing so i'm writing this lol.
To make it easy:
- I was born in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto
- My whole family still lives there (mom, dad and my little sister Marty)
- I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn't work, i got more lost if anything).
So, I live half my life in Italy and half my life in Canada.
Also, my mom is from Moldova (country in Eastern Europe) and my dad is from Calabria (region in Southern Italy) and both my grandmas still live there. So you’ll occasionally see me going there as well.
I hope this clears things up a bit.. or maybe makes them more confusing lol.

It's the rawness, simplicity, authenticity and most of all your incredible sense of humour that make your videos so much fun to watch for me! Not to say it isn't noticeable how much effort you put into making them. I adore every second of your content and respect your honesty with us! I can imagine KZfaq can be overwhelming... so comforting... my parents moved far away from our extended family to a place where they didnt know anyone, and they were not very affectionate or involved so i grew kind of deprived of "family time". that kind of deprivation makes a huge impact in your adult life. videos like these make me a little envious but their warmth makes the envy go away

At my grandmothers house the loud conversations in the morning would wake me up too! Also we had someone that would bring our bread or fruit so it was a productive morning, no alarm clock.

I watch your videos over and over again because everything in this video is so comforting and warm. People's habits, the food they eat and the way they live reminds me of home. I'm Turkish but it feels like if I lived in Italy I wouldn't be a stranger at all. I hope I can visit Italy one day.

This is amazing video! My childhood was spent in Ukrainian village with grandma and lots of wonderful people that just wanted to feed you tasty home made fried fish or fruit filled dumplings 🥟 or potatoes or borsh or chicken noodle soup and drank a lot of compote - (homemade fruit punch) made with fruit and berries that is grown around the village farm. We rode around in a horse n buggy or walked for miles to get to a tiny village store for some candy, ice cream 🍦Your video brought back memories for me! :)

What an amazing family you have! Your family remembers me the family I stayed in for 3 months in Italy, and during that time I understood how beautiful was to live in this country, the people are so kind, the food is 10000000/10 and the vibes are at another level. i loved to hear you talk about being shy and an introvert with naturality, even thought it's a trait that can make life hard sometimes... i'm shy myself and have a lot of social anxiety, and it often leads to frustration and ackward situations... now a days i can understand myself better and accept who i am. i guess i'm really learning to cope with it and instead of obcessing so much on what other people think of me and feeling so insecure, with time i really learned to acknoledge the cool and beautiful parts in me. i was so proud of you for making the effort and for acknoledging it! that's how things get easier. you look like such a cool and adorable person. wish you the best
