Join me as I talk about organizing our home, writing projects, playing with an AI art generator, spring decorating, paint color dreams, home projects, redecorating, & everything else I have been up to since Christmas! In this vlog video I'll also show you a few new things around the house, including some adorable fish & some new chairs from Target!
I haven't really had a vlog video like this on this channel yet, but thought it would be nice to have a relaxed video letting you know what I do outside my regular video recording seasons :)
I know this video is a little longer, but I hope you enjoy hearing all of what I've been up to and hope you all are having a great March!

It's always good to see you sweet Christopher! Don't spread yourself too thin though, trying to keep us entertained. You need to have down time, to just relax and enjoy life, with Tim, family, friends, and pets. Take time to breathe and just have some fun and quality time. We appreciate and enjoy the time you spend with us, but understand that we aren't the only important aspect of your life. The local museums use long satin ropes with tassels to lay across the arms of a chair with a singular loop around each arm. That way it deterred people from sitting in the chair but gently gave way if a person did sit in the chair. Food for thought.

What a treasure you are. You both have turned the house into a beautiful home.I love watching the transformation off all the Christmas decorations and how the house looks after. So lovely. You are so right, Christopher, about how too much "stuff" can make one feel weighed down. I am at that point now and with an old, three story home full of stuff I do not need or want. Unfortunately I have waited until I am not physically able to do what I need to do to get things cleaned out. It is very overwhelming! I so enjoy your vintage Easter and Christmas decor.

I put may smaller Christmas trees in old pillowcases, that way the trees remain dust free and they can breathe.

I love spending the spring and summer making home improvements, organizing, and getting tasks out of the way and I always have the goal of getting things crossed off the list before September or October when I just want to dec the whole place out in beautiful fun holiday decorations ❤ love the update so so looking forward to the Halloween season on your channel!

The new book looks beautiful! I hear you loud and clear about organizing decor! I also have lots of decor and with a business, my time is very limited. I'm hoping to be able to get a little downtime once summer comes around to get to my basement and organize even more. I try to declutter after every season. This Spring, I have put up less, maybe only 4 bins out of 8 but may not be quite ready to get rid of some items I did not use. I took out what I really wanted to use, and left the rest. Typically, I will mark one or two bins of things I didn't use so the following year, if I still don't use the items, I donate them. There is the "weight" when you realize you have lost some control over all the things. It has been on my bucket list to also paint kitchen cabinets along with some of our rooms, but it is such a huge undertaking, that I don't want to start that if I can't finish it.

Having too many things makes me anxious. Now I have a rule that if I buy something for my home, a new do-dad or "set around" I choose something that has to go. I do that with books and clothes also.

Christopher just discovered your channel. My favorite childhood & adult memories are those beautiful cast iron steam radiators. Even in grade school looking out the window one would see the heat from them. Tossing a towel on one before the nighttime shower or bath. I’ve missed your videos , glad that you checked in . Your Beta fish’s new home is lovely . My grandson has a Bata with an aquarium that is a little smaller than yours . He likes to eat the plants . So we keep bringing more in . Today l found his Australia Labradoodle laying on his bed just watching the fish 🤔not sure what to make of that . Speaking of that .., that bunny behind u is adorable. Marshmallow usually sings around 7:00am for an hour or so, and then again around 1:00pm. I recorded this around 10:30am so he was probably snacking on his bird seed treat sticks instead of singing lol :) I'm hoping to pick up some spring crafting supplies soon! :)

I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Many blessings. When you talked about snow, it reminded me of when my daughter was born. She was born March 4th 1980. The day we went to the hospital, the weather was beautiful, sunny. 2 days later we were coming home from the hospital in a snowstorm.

I am packing right now to move back to my hometown. I started packing up last April because I thought I was moving sooner than I have. So now when I get home, I will go through those boxes from last April. I have really not missed those earlier things so they will probably go to Good will.

So glad to see you back again! Your videos are entertaining, inspiring and educational. I enjoy them SO much. I admire your multi-talented presentations. I'm glad you had a good Christmas - we did, too. I'm confined to a wheelchair and almost entirely home bound. But for the holidays, the daughter who lives with me took me to my younger daughter's and we enjoyed the company of my son-in-love's family, my children, grandchildren and my great grandchild!! I'm such a blessed old woman!! Boy, I'd LOVE to go to your Goodwill store after you've been there!

I am so sorry to hear that your Christmas celebration with friends and family was not what you had planned. I know how hard you worked at decorating, making special stockings for everyone and just all the planning in general. There is so much time dedicated to the amount of decorating that you do. I know it takes me a solid 6 weeks to decorate my house for the holidays, especially when I am doing a new theme. Creating is serious business!! I like to decorate in a different theme each year. I purchase throughout the year at thrift stores to get items that I may need to add to the theme. I have learned to label each of my bins with what exactly is inside, as I have so many bins. My ornaments are now boxed by color, so it makes it easier to access when I am looking for a certain color for that year. I look forward to more of your videos, as they are always inspiring.
