Headed for Christmas and winter here in central Virginia, and KZfaq offers me this video ..... Lilly of the Valley, Wisteria, and planting green beans. It was all lush and lovely. I’m looking forward to cold and snow. Looking forward for the world to pause for the greatest reason: The Christ Child came. How lovely that you felt it necessary, and brought to pass, the blessing of your marriage before God. Thanks for sharing.

I just love the idea of a blessing, you are not the only one that feels it. I know it’s not common to speak about these things with friends in our age, isn’t it? But I do it anyway. That’s the cool thing about getting older, right? It says much about you that you didn’t choose the church for your marriage... Thanks for sharing and I’m praying for you and your family 🙏🙋🏻♀️ Frauke And now a vlog please about Toby cutting your hair 😜

This one brought a tear to my eye, John and i had a civil ceremony because at the time we weren't going to church. Fast forward 15 years I was going to church and started to think, are we married in the eyes of God? Not long after that the minister in church started a series of sermons on love and marriage, he said if anyone has any questions pop them into a box in the welcome area of church and he would answer them at the end of the 4 weeks. Of course I forgot!!!! Anyway, last week of the sermons minister got up amid said ' I must have excelled myself because I only got one question in the box............ what was it! When are you married in the eyes of God!!!!! I couldn't believe it! Got my answer! By the way I'm a hairdresser and thought you did a great job on Jobys hair! You were trying to blend the short into the longer hair, if you've got thinning scissors, which I think you have, use those to blend. Enjoy your vlogs so much thank you 😘

I loved this episode Gayna! Your blessing, sounded like when my husband and I got married. We went to the registry office early, stood outside, a lady came along, and we asked her if she would be a witness, then along came another lady, shopping bags in hand, we asked her if she would be the other witness. They took themselves off into the Ladies to do their hair and put a spot of Lippy on, and in we went. My husband was in jeans and a shirt, I was in dungerees and a Tshirt. Afterwards we took the lovely ladies to the pub opposite for a glass of wine and a sandwich, then we went back to teaching! Such a lovely memory. Take care!

I’m playing catch up, and this episode just had me smiling the whole time, Gayna! I’m with you all the way with the church thing. My husband and I are both Catholic, and we were married in our parish church 18 (!!!) years ago. It was really special 😊 That’s something I really miss right now...going to mass and seeing all of our friends from the parish and our lovely priests. But won’t it be wonderful when we can go back to these things! And you and Toby make such a good pair 😄 You clearly share good sense of humour, and that conversation you had about being paid just had me laughing! I joke about the same thing with my own husband (I’m the at home parent in our family). Your vlogs are lovely, lovely 💕

I can imagine that it feels like the structure of life has gone now that church is closed. The spiritual, social and routine elements must leave a big gap. We are lucky that we get on so well, because otherwise I would get upset over the money thing. I had worked since I was 13 until we had children so it’s been an adjustment to not pay my way. Although obviously I do pay my way.....waffle!

That is a perfectly good haircut (I am a hairdresser). I am in love with your wisteria. I planted one 7 or 8 years ago (hubby and I used to go on double dates with my parents on weekends, out to eat and shop a bit. They have both passed and I miss them so much), bought on one of our double dates. It has never bloomed. My mom has been gone a year and I have a feeling this might just be the year. I am hoping anyway. Love your uplifting videos. Keep smiling and y’all stay safe. ❤️

Dear Gayna, this might very well have been my favorite video so far during the Covid lockdown. I have to say that you short hair days were lush. You and Toby are so dear. He is a saint for participating in your vlogs because I don't know that many husbands would be as accommodating. He clearly loves you to the moon and back (as he should). In my dreams I am sitting under that glorious wisteria of yours. Next week things will slowly start to open up around here. Wyoming is the least populated state in the Nation and we have only had 6 deaths.

Hi gayna I loved your wedding tales and especially all down the pub for fish and chips with nick the vic!!! I’m a hairdresser and I miss my job so much. Some of my clients are cutting their own hair too...one of the men I do bought clippers and his wife was going to cut it for him he has number 4 on top and 1 on the sides so I told his wife that and was trying to advise her about blending it in....unfortunately she got a bit mixed up and ran number 1 straight over the top of his head!!!! Well at least she didn’t have to worry about blending it in....and he said my job is safe!!🤣🤣 You did a lovely job and looked like you were totally enjoying it!!! Very entertaining 💕💕

Let's face it - no one's livves are exciting right how. But your "boring" life is more exciting/different to mine, Thanks for sharing about your marriage blessing and the photos. I totally get why you married the way you did and then had a blessing. You did a great job with Toby's haircut. I've seen lots of women cutting their husband's hair. The barber's may be out of business after the quarantine. I'm amazed at how well women are cutting hair with no training. And it's a very personal thing - I think - cutting your husband's hair - sort of intimate.

What wonderful memories to share and love how much your Vicar means to you. He truly sounds like a wonderful person and loves his "flock". I cut my hubby's hair the same way and he has as much as your hubby if I let him grow it out that long. When it's nice outside, we'll go out on the deck to give him his hair cut, that way the cleanup isn't so arduous. I have mentioned how much I enjoy your vlogs in several of my vlogs and a lot of it is because you just so happen to be on the screen while I'm vlogging, lol! Hope you don't mind it (if you want to watch see it, you're at mark 7:50 in this vlog kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y8dzZ5pm2dTVhGw.html ). All my other vlogs you make a cameo in are sporadic and I'd have to dig them up. ANYway, we finally have SUN today and it might get up into the low 50'sF (10 C) - we Michiganders are SO excited! Tomorrow I get to buy some soil to transplant my herbs.
